So I was reviewing our rules and visiting other fanon wikis and found some possibilities for our wiki.
Categories
Categories for content made by a specific user have been permitted (as long as that user has a significant amount of content).
For example, the Prodigia Project and Hidden Strings category(s) are for Dystopianist's series.
The current problem is that the categories are a mess. On wikis such as the Warrior Cats Fanon Wiki, Wings of Fire Fanon Wiki, and Author's Academy Wiki, they have a naming system.
I.e. Content made by me will go under the category Content (AlyssSolo)
This is the solution I propose. You can do this, but whether or not it will be in the rules is up to the wiki (in other words, all of you).
Note: If this is enforced, Categories for series (like Hidden Strings) will still be permitted, but they will be subcategories of your main category.
Deletion
Pages are mainly deleted for plagiarism, having absurdly little content, redundant, or in the case of idea pages - because it exists in-game or there's already a page for it.
Most wikis, when they have their yearly deletion, delete pages under 2k bytes. Our own deletion process is open for discussion, however.
Discussions
We have a new collection of discussion categories! Please use them.
General - Self-explanatory. If the concept is related to the wiki topic but doesn't fit anywhere else, it goes there.
Fanfictions - Discussions related to existing or soon-to-be-created fanfictions go here.
Roleplays - Roleplays hosted in discussions are to be sorted here.
Ideas - When discussing things you want to see in-game, they go here.
Art - For fanart.
Wiki - Posts related to the wiki (like this one, but not an announcement), go there.
Announcements - For important posts related to the wiki. Only staff can use this category.
Off-topic - If the post doesn't fit in any of those categories, it goes there.
Ratings
Ratings on fanfictions are needed seeing we don't have a mature content template. If a fanfiction does not have a rating, feel free to add one depending on the rating that seems to suit it.
Note that it will be liable to change at any time if the author decides to add an additional element to the plot.
For example: Currently, Smart-Alecky is somewhat PG, later on, it might be PG-13 or remain the same, depending on how Falcon and I develop the plot.
Promotions
We aren't urgently in need of staff, but seeing the wiki is growing, we need to review this soon. As you know, the promotion requirements are marked for edit warring, so we need input on what would be reasonable.
Fandom Desktop
With Fandom desktop, styling changed, therefore the css was nuked. If there's anything you think should be styled or have a suggestion, please mention it now so it will be considered later on.
