Whoo, Zip-Zap lore. Never drawn without outlines so this is a first for me...kind of like how this turned out. Always wanted to draw out their petbook with more detailed notes on their behaviour and ecosystem dynamics, so...enjoy the Zip-Zap entry ig?

This was actually an old drawing from early 2024 that I never finished because the style was a little harder to adapt to at the time and I couldn't get myself to like it. I was revisting it every few months and eventually was like, "hey, it's not that bad, i can polish up a few spots, this can actually look cool!"

And it did!

I don't think it will be worth creating a page for this variant yet due to another shadow Ashlet variant called Ashelt existing. It's a shadow type variant of Ashlet I made up a few months ago. I have not made a Smoldash variant for it yet. This variant mainly focuses more on the pet's association with ash rather than just being a shadow Ashlet.

CRYSTAL GONE.

The horizontal lines represent commas/periods within a statement, and the stars represent the 'end of statement.' Like periods, but only at the end of a paragraph/verse/whatever.

The name of the civilization that uses Runic roughly translates to 'dusk', and Crystal is, well, the last known member of that civilization, so she'll either be referred to with the Crystal rune or 'The Last of Dusk' (Death Dusk)

Will probably make an updated list of Runic characters with the ten new runes... someday.
