Introduction:[]

Hello, User:AzziePlays here. Do you struggle with the arena? I did too, but from each loss, I learned more, and now that the season, Arc Of Light is coming to an close, I wanted you guys to get a headstart for the next season by reading this guide. Here are some tips and tricks to be in Gold 1 everytime.

Tips and Tricks:[]

Tip 1: Level Up:[]

You probably already knew that higher levels are important, but I highly encourage you to get to level 100 in the arena because, when I was in Gold 2-Gold 1, most of the wizards were level 100, and even though I was level 100, in the begining, I still struggled, which means it would be even harder for people who are not level 100 yet to suceed in the arena.

Tip 2: Get loads of items:[]

Of course, healing items can be the breaking point between win and loss sometimes. So, let's say you were about to defeat an enemy, but then, they heal themselves and they restore their hearts. You remember that you did not buy items and you end up losing as a result of this. I ended up in this situation many times, and lost points because of it. But then, I gave items a try and hiked the mountains of Shiverchill Mountains formany days so that I could spend them at Aspen Frost in the Crystal Caverns in exchange for healing items. This was a big help, mainly the hot cocco because it was cheap enough, and it gave me an sustainible amount of hearts to not worry about being took out in 1 shot. You can also go to Harmony Island to get items, but I don't recomend this because sometimes you have to use items to heal yourself on harmony island, and it is also harder to find items.

Tip 3: Look for pets that are elementaly weak against your pets.[]

Of course, your pets being more powerful then the other wizard's pets helps you. A contributing factor to this is your pets having an element that is stronger than the pets of the opponent. Ice beats Storm, Fire beats Plant and Ice, Water beats Fire, Storm beats Water, and Earth beats Water. For example, if you had a Vinequeen and a Embershed, a wizard with a Gnawdy and an Keeper eould be a good choice. You might think that the Gnawdy is powerful against the Embershed, butif you attack with your Vinequeen against the Gnawdy, the Earth would beat the Water, and of course, Fire from the Embershed would go perfect against the Ice of the Keeper.

Tip 4: Use good runes:[]

Of course, runes are another helpful factor with battles. When I was in the arena, I mainly used 1 heart rune and 2 damage runes on my wizard, and 2 heart runes and one damage rune on my pets. Of course, trial 6 runes. However, it took trial and error to figure out that this was the best rune set for me. So, how do you figure out the best rune set for you? Well, a good way is to check your pets stats in your pet book. For example, if your pet book says that your pets are high damage low health pets, you would equip them with heart runes, and vice versa. If your pets stats are in the middle with an equal amount of health and damage, then I would suggest that you use the rune set that I used for my pets above. Now, what runes should you use for your wizard? Well, it depends on what you want your wizard's stats to be. But no matter what, it is essential that you equip at least 1 heart rune on your whole team. Now that you have that spot filled up, what should the other two be? Well, to have enough damage, you need at least one damage rune on your wizard. So, what should the last spot be? Well, you can pick whatever you want there, but be sure to steer clear of the elemental bonus rune and damage reduction rune, the elemental bonus rune did virtually nothing for me but a waste of space, and the damage reduction runes does not work effectively unless you apply at least two of them.

Tip 5: Shuffle challengers.[]

Although it is harder as you climb through the ranks to find lower leveled wizards, it is still possible and it gave me that last little boost I needed to get into Gold 1. If you have enough items, then you most likely do not need to do this, but in the lower leagues, it will help speed up the process, making battles quicker. As I said before, you can still find easy wizards in the higher leagues and when all other wizards are to hard, you can use this technique as a last resort to get into Gold 1.

End:[]
