Prologue: 6 Years Earlier[]
Ben was tinkering with an old radio.
He had always been a bright child.
He taught himself to read at the age of 2.
He could list the components of a robot 4.
Now, he was making his own machine at age 6.
After an hour, Ben finished tinkering with the radio.
It now had legs and arms that could dance depending on what music was playing.
It had no use, but it looked cool to Ben.
After Ben had finished work on the radio, he walked outside.
It was very cold, as is the standard for frozen islands, so he put on a coat and a scarf.
He ran outside, but then, he was stopped by some older kid.
"What's up, loser?" he said.
"I have a name, you know." replied Ben.
"Whatever! Hey, do you want to see something cool?"
"Not really..."
"Too bad!"
The older kid dragged Ben by the hood to a fishing hole.
He then threw Ben into the fishing hole.
"Hey, I'm gonna die of hypothermia here!" yelled Ben
"What are you gonna do, tell your parents? Oh wait, you don't have any! They left you because your face was so ugly!" replied the older kid.
He ran away laughing.
The sad part is that this was daily life for Ben.
He was fished up by an old lady.
"Benjamin? This happened again?" she asked.
Ben nodded.
"Those boys! Come on, let's go get you warmed up."
She took Ben back to her cottage.
But there was one question to be asked.
When would this end?
Literally the Only Chapter: A Fateful Encounter[]
6 years later, a young wizard was rowing his boat towards the frozen island, on vacation.
He had been waiting for one for months on end.
When his boat reached a dock, he felt a cold chill, as is the standard for frozen islands.
Luckily, there was a coat shop nearby. He bought a coat and went on his way.
Who was this wizard?
Ansat Lightningheart.
He ran across the snowy landscape, until he came across a young boy and a polar bear.
This polar bear was about to maul the young boy.
Now, even back in the days where Ansat was every teacher's worst nightmare, he was not one to let another person die while they were defenseless.
So what did he do?
He charged at the polar bear, and let off a Storm aura. Once he rammed into the polar bear, the bear ran off.
Ansat did a backflip, and when he landed, he struck a dynamic pose.
Ben looked in awe. This random stranger looked like the coolest guy ever!
Ansat ran away, but Ben floated up.
Oh right, backstory.
You see, when Ben was around 9 years old, he found a Cloud Mount.
He wanted to see if it would go into a syringe, and it did. Unfortunately, an accident involving someone's pet rooster led to the syringe being stuck in Ben's forearm.
Ben pushed the syringe down, and somehow, that led to him getting flight powers.
Illogical, I know, but this has to fit with the AAB timeline somehow.
Anyways, Ben floated up, and flew after Ansat. He had to close his eyes, and his eyes weren't trained to handle wind just yet.
Unsurprisingly, Ben crashed into a flagpole, and that's when Ansat pulled over to check on him.
"Whoa, that's gotta hurt." he said.
Ben started tearing up.
"Whoa, whoa. Don't cry. It's only a bruise!" said Ansat
"It just hurts really badly." said Ben, sniffling.
"I got a solution!" replied Ansat.
He took a raggedy brown bag off of his shoulder, and grabbed a pair of pilot's goggles.
"This should help you with vision."
Ben took the goggles, and put them on.
"Gee, thanks, mister!" he said.
"Don't mention it." replied Ansat.
Ansat ran off, and Ben flew after him. That's when Ansat stopped running again.
"Why are ya following me?" he asked.
"I want to be your friend!" replied Ben.
"That's gotta be a no. I don't even know you all that well, so we can't really be friends yet."
Before Ben could reply, the older kid from 6 years ago stood in front of them both.
"What's up loser? Ready for a dive in the fishing hole?"
The older kid kept insulting Ben, and calling him names, when Ansat decided to intervene.
"Hey, leave my friend alone, you no brained bozo!" he said.
“What are you gonna do, pose edgily?”
Ansat did not pose edgily. Instead, he jumped into this kid while curled up into a ball.
The older kid fell down, and just laid there.
”Wow, that was so cool!” Said Ben.
”I know!” Replied Ansat, acting cocky.
”Do you wanna see my plane?”
“What plane?”
”Come on, I’ll show you!”
Ben grabbed Ansat by the hand, and flew off to his house.
”Wow, kid. I never imagined that you would be able to lift me without getting tired.” Said Ansat.
Ben ignored the compliment, and led Ansat to a tarp covered vehicle.
He took off the tarp, and under the tarp was a red biplane with orange racing stripes.
Ansat looked on in awe.
”This baby can fly up to 50 miles per hour!” Said Ben.
