— Aria Steelwind
|
Aria Steelwind is a protagonist featured in the Warfare RPs.
Appearance[]
Long ash blond hair and blue eyes, average caucasian skin tone. Medium-short height. There are scars near her shoulder blades from her implanted wing ports.
Gear[]
- Bladewings: They're akin to the wings of the Disassembly Drones from Murder Drones, or The Falcon's wings. They run off of Storm Magic/Electricity, and allow Aria to fly and move at rates proportional to that of a peregrine falcon's dive on a humanoid body. Do you like going just under the speed of sound at max push? She certainly does.
-All of her other original world gear has been lost to time.-
- Cybernetic Mask: The mask part can completely shift around her face, PS5 Miles Morales Tinkerer-style. The hood is also somehow incredibly resistant to wind, and neither part ever comes off when Aria's on the job as Skyrend. Recolored to silver and cyan the moment she wore them. It somehow attaches to any outfit she wears, meaning the hood can go anywhere.
- Red Armor: Technically, it's silver-cyan armor now. There are holes near the shoulders that allow the wing ports to stick out, and thereby allow the Bladewings to be used. The shoulder pads are shortened and the center core-thing now contains an electric sphere that can be used to create rifts. Also allows Aria to take hella damage without being too impacted. It's not worn casually.
- Color Block Hoodie: Worn off the job, it's more solid-colored now. She owns two, both using either black or white with cyan accents. It's also slightly less puffy, and incredibly comfortable nonetheless.
- Energy Staff: Aria doesn't use this thing often, as it's impractical for flight and generally not very adding to her combat or style. However, she's pretty skilled when wielding it, and it's actually activated this time around. Same color scheme shift as the Red Armor, looks more like the inventory image than the equipped appearance. Can deform to attach to the Red Armor, resembling something like an emblem on her back.
- Cybernetic Boots: Blah blah blah, color scheme shift. Now it can display Aria's current timeline on the weird strap-hologram-script things.
Personality[]
Aria is cocky and playful. She's a trustworthy friend, but one hell of a chore to deal with, and she's always up to something. Ever since meeting Raid and Cloud by accident, Aria's taken a great interest into her own past and previous dimension, and she gets adorably geeky when anyone brings it up. However, piss her off or threaten her allies and she'll be hellfire from above.
Backstory[]
Aria was a next-gen, very talented and young bounty hunter/superhero from a more urban dimension. Originally known for fighting crime under the name Skyrend, she was inevitably isekai'd into Prodigia during an accident involving a textbook, a particle accelerator, and a very angry supervillain. With no memory or recollection of her old life, she now bounty hunts for Boardy, but her past enemies loom on the horizon, just a rift away.
Abilities[]
Powers/Abilities[]
- Storm Magic: Somehow taught by Cloud and Raid. Predisposed to Earth electricity- this came naturally.
- Skyfall: Pushing her Bladewings to maximum force and diving allows her to reach incredible speeds, at the cost of much of her energy. However, external power sources can be used to achieve Skyfall without this effort.
- Time Travel: This ability was achieved under the guidance of Raid and Cloud. While normally using lots of her storm magic reserve to accomplish, her Red Armor can do it for her.
- Origin Epiphany: Aria's dreams are usually true experiences that she has had in her old world, allowing her to revisit her past she no longer remembers.
Strengths[]
- Water Magic
- Athleticism: The experience of the crime-fighting shtick, as well as being generally fit, allows Aria to be pretty physically capable.
- Smarts: Look, when you start time traveling, there's a lot to unpack. This, along with the development of the Bladewings, has given Aria a more logical and sharp mind.
Weaknesses[]
- Ice Magic
- Heights: It's not that she's afraid of them, but her Bladewings are highly susceptible to high altitudes. They just freeze up.
- Origin Nightmares: Origin Epiphany doesn't come without her own nightmarish experiences. These are usually involved in physical or psychological harm, and are far more lucid- to the point where she can feel every single bit of pain and suffering she had during the event.
Trivia[]
- Aria's backstory dimension is based off of universes and comics like Marvel and DC- specifically, Spiderman.
- Origin Epiphany's name comes from the "tragic origin story" used for many superheroes in these types of comics.
- Aria has been known to sneak into kitchens and use knife sharpening sets on her Bladewings. Because of this, many restaurants have completely banned her entry.
- Aria's original name before adopting the name Steelwind was Aria Jones. Real original, amirite?
