Aria Stormchaser is a character who appears in Forged by Obsidian, Dargon's Bane, and Fluttery Love.
Appearance[]
As President of Prodigy Island, Stormchaser dresses to impress, wearing tuxedos and black colors in most occasions with the exception of Springfest and Summerfest events where floral dresses would be more appropriate. She casually wears bright orange scarves and business casual blazer jumpsuits within the Opal Office. Oftentimes, she wears her short hair down, but will place it in a bun if it grows too long.
Personality[]
Used to the stress that comes with keeping the identity of the Astral Warden hidden, pursue the heads of the Order of Influence with violent intentions, and defend against the attacks that the Order made nearing the end of the great war, she is able to handle conflict with little assistance. Despite needing at least some partners to help solve problems as necessary while being a member of the federal government of Prodigy Island, she is capable to filing well-placed executive orders and handling backlash.
Her somewhat immoral background in taking the law into her own hands was not only wrong but also very, very damaging to her innocence. Having to do such work as a teenager caused her to deal with more high-conflict individuals, graphic violence, gore, and death that she herself often had to cause. This made her grow up quickly, but becoming a Trialmaster that but her into these situations was still her choice. This may have been beneficial, however, because this allowed her to have the maturity she needed to take on more difficult roles.
In battle, Aria Stormchaser often continues to be cool and strategic as she was trained to be as a Trialmaster trainee. She no longer panics over the consequences of each and every bit of magic she casts. She continues to battle even as President for her pastime and will hold back during spars to avoid injuring people: her mindset changes when she battles while in danger and battles for fun. She does not want to cause any amount of injury to a friend as she did to a member of the Order that deserved to be defeated.
Weapons/Gear[]
Throughout her life, Aria Stormchaser wore various gear and used different weapons, but once she became a Trialmaster she wore a Trialmaster's Circlet, a Trialmaster's Garb, and Trialmaster's Boots. She continues to use her Master of Trials. She has every relic ringed together in a necklace she hides in a pocket on her person at all times.
Abilities[]
- Astral Magic: Has high aptitude to improve Astral magic combat but already has powerful combat spells of the Astral element, and she has mastery of them.
- Utility Magic: Aria can perform simple charms and tricks, like opening doors and locking them with small spurts of telekinesis.
- Trialmaster's Motivation: A passive psyche-changing effect that increases their determination to complete quests and tasks that align with Samantha Currentine's will.
