Bee Box is a fanon interactive furniture item for Prodigy.
Appearance[]
The box is a cubic 8 million pixels in size (a real world cubic meter), resting as a white, wooden crate with openings for the interior of a hive inside of it. The top is lidded and has two small, cylindrical protrusions meant to lock more bee boxes in place above or diagonally above it in grid or beehive patterns. Its animations display the level of maturity of the hive:
- Dormant: the surroundings of the hive are too cold, too dark, or too bright. The bees will not appear around the hive and will instead be resting in torpor on the inside. If the hive is semi-mature or mature, the box will not show the status and will instead look as though it is in its "Active" stage without exterior bees. All boxes go dormant depending upon the real-world night cycles in Greenwich, England, for convenience.
- Active: there are bees around the box, but no excessive honey or bee bread is caking the exterior. A box will be in this stage for three days.
- Mid-development: there are bees around the box, and some bee bread is visible around the extrance on the side. If the bees are bellowed smoke, harvesting Bee Bread can be done. A box will be in this stage for three days and will progress into a Mature hive if the bee bread is not harvested.
- Mature: there are bees around the box and in a much greater volume than hives in mid-development. Honey drips from the extrance, meaning that the bees are in desparate need of having part of their comb removed so as not to flood the box. If the bees are bellowed smoke, harvesting Honeycomb can be done. If not harvested within a week, the hive resets into the "Active" phase because the bees will rapidly consume it all, and some will disappear due to a sugar crash.

Trivia[]
- In Prodigy Math Game FourSevensRueful Version, players cannot move houses or remove their hive in their house if they have any non-dormant bee boxes. Removing a box will reset the progress of the hive's development.
- Harvesting anything from the bee box requires use of bellows. Players that attempt to harvest without having bellows will be told by Noot that such action is too dangerous.
- There must be at least five flowering plants in the player's house to progress the hive's development.
