Benjamin "Ben" Firestorm is a character from the ROTW timeline.
Appearance[]
Ben wears on orange version of the Extreme Speed Outfit with some jeans. He has Orange goggles on his head and brown hair.
Personality[]
Ben is a smart kid, who is also nice. Unlike Ansat, he's not cocky, but some of Ansat's attitude rubs off on Ben sometimes (swearing, giving people insulting nicknames, etc). Ben is also kind of shy, and doesn't really stand up for himself all that much. He has also been regarded as childish (by Mira Shade), and is often overlooked in favor of Ansat (whether it's because Ansat is being... Well, Ansat, or because Ansat is actually being cool for once), but he doesn't let that get him down.
After Shadow's Rising, Ben has developed a form of trauma, as he's prone to lashing out at people, and he hates the Shadow element with a fiery (no pun intended) passion. He also has threatened to kill people on more than one occasion (considering he's 12, this is somewhat disturbing).
After Ceasefire, Ben seems to have developed another form of trauma due to the amount of life threatening adventures he's been on. He drinks alcohol to ease the pain.
Weapons/Gear[]
Extreme Speed Outfit: An orange version given to him by Ansat.
Pilot's Goggles: A pair of pilot goggles Ben uses to shield his eyes from the wind while flying.
Laser Ray: A laser gun made from Ansat's plane.
Speed Shoes: Some shoes Ben invented to keep up with Ansat's speed.
Powers/Abilities[]
Flight: Ben can fly using his own firepower. His top flight speed can match Ansat's top running speed.
Astral Magic: Ben naturally can use this
Pyrokinesis: Ben can naturally use this.
Extreme Speed Attack: The same as Ansat but with fire instead of lightning.
Strengths[]
- A very good mechanic and engineer, being able to take apart a plane and remake it into a laser gun in seconds.
- Good against grass types.
- A twelve year old genius.
- A skilled pilot, being able to fly Ansat's plane and do fancy tricks with it
Weaknesses[]
- Appearing later in the story, sometimes he is unaware about the villains.
- Needs a weapon to fight or else he's outclassed.
- Sometimes follows Ansat's orders without thinking about the consequences.
- His magic is not very developed because of his background of growing up without it.
- Most of the time, his inventions don't work as intended, or straight up fail.
- Nowadays, Ben is more capable of screwing things up with his immaturity.
Pets[]
As of now, this wizard has no pets (Unless Big Hex from Chapter 6 of Adventures of Ansat and Ben counts).
Trivia[]
- As Ansat is partially based off of Sonic the Hedgehog, Ben is partially based off of Miles "Tails" Prower from the same franchise.
- Ben was born in North Island (Which is the equivalent of the South Pole) which is ironic because of his last name and second element (fire)
- Ben gained flight when he was testing on a cloud mount, and accidentally absorbed it.
- Ben can run almost as fast as Ansat, but he chooses to fly because running makes him tired (He doesn't have the same amount of stamina as Ansat).
- Ben being able to run as fast as Ansat comes from his shoes, which he specially designed to help him almost as fast as Ansat.
- Ben oftentimes manages to build incredible things while drunk. Unfortunately for him, he almost always ends up breaking them before he conks out.
- Ben managed to recover the Rac while drunk. It's the one thing he hasn't broken yet.
