A wizard was rushing through Lamplight Town, jumping off of buildings, dodging wizards, and generally being the epitome of speed.
He kept running until the paved roads of Lamplight Town turned into the lush grassland of Pallet Pass.
Take a wild guess who this wizard is.
You already know.
Ansat dodged trees, swam across a lake, and rolled down hills.
He then rolled up a hill like it was a ramp, and uncurled.
Once he uncurled, he saw a beautiful sight. It was the sight of Prodigia.
The island he lived on for 28 years.
Welp, it was time for adventure.
He hit the ground running, and boosted forwards.
A red-haired warden landed behind him, the flames from his hands and feet dissolving in elemental magic. "Okay, okay, you won that one," Chase laughed.
"Heh, you may not be as fast as me, but it was still a fun race, don't ya think?" replied Ansat, smiling,
"Yeah! It was a blast! I guess we should head back...race you there!" Chase replied, flames beginning to propel him off the ground.
"Alright!" said Ansat, revving up. "I'll give you a 30 second head start!"
"Good luck with that," Chase smirked, flying off.
"Okay, you won that one again," Chase said, collapsing on one of the puffy clouds of Skywatch, exhausted.
"Hehe!" chuckled Ansat.
A familiar gray-haired wizard stood over the exhausted form of the Fire Warden, a Zipzap shawling on his shoulders and a girl standing nearby.
"Aren't you a little to old for races?" Storm commented, extending a hand to help him up.
"You can never be too old for a race!" said Ansat.
"You can if you can't stop your own aging," the borg replied after he helped Chase to his feet, "No offense, that is. I don't intend to storm things up."
“Depends on what the races are,” Juniper commented, glancing at Storm and blushing when he caught her eye. “We’ve been running a book marathon!”
Jade sighed. “She won’t stop badgering me…”
”You’re just mad that I’m on Tales of the Moon Fairies and you’re on Flora’s Funny Day,” their brother said, smirking.
”Oh, shut up, you know full well I can’t read anything that triggers them.”
“Okay, fine, sorry."
Ben floated down from the sky, holding an Aracute.
"Hey, Ansat. I found your Aracute near my lab, I think he wanted to see you." he said
When Ben reached the ground, he gave Aracute to Ansat, who placed him on his shoulder.
Two fairies appeared out of thin air.
”Hey!” Kado said. “Hunter said he’d be hanging out here…?”
Andrew waved as well. “Hi.”
Meanwhile, an albino wizard ran up to his dad, tugging at his pant leg. "Daddy, Nathan and Hope want to know who won the race," the boy said, pointing to his bickering siblings.
"Ansat won," Chase shrugged. "Sorry guys!"
"Told you Ansat would win," Hope said to her brother, who scowled and turned away.
Ansat chuckled.
"I didn't even have to go Extreme Speed!" he said.
Robin waved, letting go of his uncle’s arm. “Hi Andrew! Hi Raiden! Hi Rai!”
Opal, on the other hand, immediately began chatting with Glace, scribbling in her notebook as she did so.
Aly was gripping Rai's hand, the younger fairy watching the clouds that made up the ground shyly.
