Body Types are another form of character customization for both wizards of Prodigy Math Game and player avatars of Prodigy English.
Overview[]
Within the character customization, players are able to change the length and width of their limbs and torso using customization sliders. These sliders are found on the wizard customization tab of their profile that has Stylist Snips at the bottom. It is located in a subtab that has the capital letters SIZE.
The current units of measurement of length are in pixels (abbreviated px), a fanon unit; all wizards and avatars start out at 100 px tall, 50 px wide, 35 px length in the limbs, and 10 px wide in the limbs. The player's head is 75 pixels long and does not change in size.
The minimum length of a player's torso is 75 px and their maximum length is 125 px. The minimum width is 40 px and the maximum width is 200 px. The minimum length of limbs is 25 and the maximum length is 75. The minimum width of limbs is 5 and the maximum width is 25.
Change in size does not effect the player's overall hitbox; that will remain the same regardless of size changes.
Improving Gameplay[]
Players in real life have vastly different body types than the available characters within Prodigy Math and Prodigy English. Updating that may allow players to more accurately look like themselves in real life and may help them feel better about how they look. While the desire to have a healthy or "normal" body type remains, an increase in available types increases representation of plus-sized individuals.
This will not greatly affect the way outfits appear on a wizard. Since they are vector images, they can be resized and lengthened to fit the player's body.
