Bottle of Sunlight are fanon items for Prodigy.
They are collectible items (and pseudo-currency) within the Nesting Grounds. They are available in very small quantities and are obtained mainly through the player's efforts, making them susceptibly the least pay-to-win currency in fanon Prodigy. They are harvested from the Lumin Well.
Appearance[]
A clear plastic can filled with a bright yellow-orange fluid. It intensely radiates the area around it, so a part of it is sealed off in impermeable silvery metal.
In-Game Description[]
"So much work was put into this single, little can. You can't drink the light from it, but we can tell that you need to rehydrate. Go convert it into a lemonade or tea!"
Improving Gameplay[]
Because it takes a long time to obtain a single Bottle of Sunlight, it is hard to reproduce them manually and encourages players to use the Nesting Grounds for learning purposes. It is a unique-looking currency that comes in a canister, similarly to how "credits" are used in space-genre worlds outside of Prodigy.
Math Factor[]
It takes several complete, correct answers in a row (to mathematics questions prompted by the game) to obtain a Bottle of Sunlight.
Trivia[]
- Liquid sunlight is too warm to drink straight from the well. It is also mutagenic to stomach lining tissue, making it unwise to drink.
- The sea is somehow not the origin of the liquid sunlight, despite the Lumin Well boring through the floating island completely.
