Traditions[]
When a Caddisfolk comes of age and enters adulthood, which is usually when they turn 10 years old, they begin official training in either web-spinning or case-making, both of which are connected yet segregated disciplines of silkmaking. They are usually proficient at making full draperies and complex sets of clothing by 15 years old.
Once they turn about 90 years old, they enter a year of metamorphosis in their favorite web or case, then emerges sexually mature. Then and only then can they reproduce. They live for about ten to twenty years in this stage.
