By now, it is headcanon in the Prodigy fandom that Prodigy English occurs in the same Prodigy Math universe. Whether or not they occur at the same time, it is highly likely that if the headcanon becomes or already is canon that the player is placed into a time far away from the rise or extinction of wizardkind.
All of the other humanlike characters in the game are children in appearance, claim to go to school, and have pet dogs. What could all of this imply?
Parent Draft[]
If the humanlike characters are bound to sexual reproduction as a means of being a valid species, then these characters must have parents. Why are they offscreen and never to be seen? Either Prodigy Education does not care for realism, or they have yet to implement them. If the latter is true, parents have either been drafted into a war or have been snipped out of the picture (for convenience) like the teachers and parents in Charlie Brown.
Prodigy War[]
It is not like Prodigy Education to not produce a logical, lore-rich storyline. A war would be a good plot point and conflict to improve the game, and it is not that hard to see that none of these children reference their parents. Maybe they are so afraid of what is happening/happened to them that they want to hide the topic from conversation, and maybe all of them have pet dogs for a functional reason other than just to have a companion.
Children Were Drafted[]
All of the children in the game are impoverished (only willing to trade resources for a small sum of Gold) and wear glasses. While there is some probability that it's fine and just a result of the nearsightedness of human beings, it's exceptionally uncommon to come across 10 consecutive people who have impaired vision. Vision is necessary for a good soldier in war, and it may be a drain on resources to force the conscription of people with bad eyesight. They have have collectively gotten a life-saving pass.
