Elemental Effects is an idea for effects caused by the combinations of elements in an "open-world" (fanfiction) version of Prodigy.

It's mainly based off Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact (Since I find them logical), but different as Prodigy works differently.

Absorb[]
Upon using an Earth Elemented spell that conjures plants, if a water elemented spell is used to counter it, the entity it affects is wet, or near a body of water, the summoned plants will absorb the water and become larger, causing it to cover more area and essentially dealing more damage.
Swirl[]
This is mainly based off the "swirl" reaction in Genshin Impact, however, as there is no Anemo element, this effect can only be triggered by two spells: Forest Hurricane or Charclone. When Forest Hurricane OR Charclone is cast, if it touches elemental energy residue from other spells, it will generally swirl it causing the spell to inflict Earth/Fire Elemental damage, as well as the damage of anything else it picked up (Fire Elemental damage, Water Elemental damage, etc) unless canceled out.
Burn[]
If a Fire Elemented spell is used and comes in contact with an Earth Elemented spell, the Earth Elemented spell will either: a) burst into flames as it combines with the other spell and deal Fire elemental damage, b) burn into ashes and neither spell deals damage, or c) swirl if the spell in question is Charclone or Forest Hurricane.
How the burn effect reacts depends on the strength/type of Earth Spell or Fire Spell in question.

Wet[]
After being hit by a water spell, the entity in question will be wet, allowing the to be liable for conduct and freeze effects.
Conduct[]
If a Storm spell comes in contact with a Water spell, wet entity, or body of water, the electrical energy will be conducted, increasing damage and duration.
Amplify[]
If a Storm Spell is infused with Astral Energy, the Storm Magic will feed off of it, amplifying the amount of electricity and increasing damage.
Freeze[]
If an Ice spell comes in contact with a Water spell, wet entity, or body of water, it will freeze over. This essentially stops an entity or spell in it's tracks, as well as making a solid platform to walk on (if affecting a body of water).
Melt[]
If a Fire spell comes in contact with an Ice spell, the ice well melt and it will instead act as a water spell.
