Elemental Guardians is a fanon version of a canon group in Prodigy.

Overview

Also known as Master Wizards, the Elemental Guardians are individuals who are the major political figure of an Elemental Area. They report to the Wardens.

Culture

Leadership

Elemental Guardians rule their area until they are impeached, retire, or pass away. They do no necessarily have ultimate power over domain, often sharing it with other rulers present in the area. However, they are somewhat ambassadors for the Wardens, and if a said Warden instructs them to do something in a said area, they have ultimate authority until they complete the Warden's request.

Guardians who currently share power are:

• Ice Guardian: Ice Tribe Leaders, Crystal Tribe Leader, Cavener's Leader, Moon Tribe Leader, Shiverchill (Yeti) Tribe Leaders
• Fire Guardian: Queen Goo-lia
• Water Guardian: Creek Tribe Leader, Sun Tribe Leaders, Pirate's Representative
• Astral Guardian: Lamplight Authorities

Lineage

Guardians normally choose their succeeder, but in the case they do not, the Trainee of their respective element takes over their duties until the Trainee selects a succeeder. Trainees may also take over if the current Guardian is unfit for the job due to age, mentality, etc. An example of this is Ignis replacing Slurpy due to him being too young to handle the entirety of Bonfire. Rarely, a Guardian may choose a Trainee as their succeeder, which is the case with Storm.

As for succeeders themselves, they must fit the following requirements:

• Are able to be in their respective elemental area 3 or more times a week.
• Are able to report to the Wardens monthly.
• Have previously studied the element aligning to their elemental area.
• Have no major offenses - albeit, there have been exceptions.

Salary

Like most authority figures, the Guardians are paid in tax money, They're served an ambassador's salary, which is roughly 1798 gold a year.

Elemental Guard: All Guardians can harness the magic of their elemental areas.
