Fossoul is a fanon Shadow element pet for Prodigy Math.
Appearance[]
Fossouls resemble slightly elongated, quadruped mammals with sleek, compact bodies and long, wispy tails that have distinctly spiked ends. Most of their bodies are a glossy, solid black, but their lower legs, tail, and feet are slightly more transparent. They each have one pair of forward-facing eyes with dark indigo sclerae, bright bluish lavender irises, and slit-shaped pupils similar to those of Scovile or Blastrout. They have quite long but non-pointed snouts, medium blue-violet noses, and rounded ears with similar interior coloration. The interior of their mouths are pale lavender and their thick tongues are slightly darker.
In-Game Description[]
"Fossouls are reclusive and tend to hide in compact, shaded places where they enjoy long hours of rest. They hunt and fish for prey at night to avoid being spotted by creatures that could be spooked over this species' ghostly appearance."

- The name of this species is a portmanteau of fossa, a carnivorous mammal, and soul, the pseudoscientific construct of a creature or person's "essence."
