Glace Starheart is a character in Xenophobe.
Appearance[]
Kid[]
Tall for her age. She has medium-sized white & blue wings, golden eyes, and light blue hair. Her tail is dark blue and ribbon-like, but surprisingly fluffy.
Teen[]
A tall, golden-eyed, blue-haired, blue & white-winged fairy. Her tail has dark-blue with white smudges, and she wears an anklet. Her jeans are ripped, but her tail remains fluffy. Her right ear is torn.
Adult[]
Post the events of Filia Umbra, she permanently gains a set of glossy gray Qilin-like horns and purple, tabby-like stripes along her body. These stripes are mostly covered, but it's possible to see a set of them on her wrists, neck, and face. Some of the tears in her jeans are patched, and she has a slight alteration to her shirt resembling that of Shadow's.
Notably, the top half of her tail is scaled, while the bottom half is as fluffy as ever. Post the events of Ground Zero, she gained a permanent "scar" composed of void crystals protruding from left wrist, with violet scales surrounding the base of the protrusions.
Cat[]
Can turn into a white and dark blue-furred, golden-eyed mountain lion cub. As she grows older, she takes on the form of an adult mountain lion, her darker blue fur lightening to complement the white and allowing her to blend into the snow. After Filia Umbra, she gains faint purple accents in her fur, and her horns are visible in this form - simply smaller.
Personality[]
Kid[]
A magnet for trouble. Scared of dogs and always seems to be sleepy.
Teen[]
A learning manipulator who trouble always seems to follow, even if it's not directed towards her. She's quite the sadist, enjoying other's suffering and always telling them that they deserve it as she believes everyone is evil in a way. She's known for being creepy as she has a tendency to know that something bad is going to happen to you long before it actually does, leading to her scaring off most people.
Surprisingly enough, she's proven to be a strong leader, managing to get things done as long as it appeals to her.
Adult[]
She's become more and more at ease with manipulating, but there are a select few she can't fool for all she tries. She's antisocial, but that's mostly because little people dare to approach her, especially after the events of Filia Umbra. Additionally, she's become slightly more responsible with time, but still retains her sadistic interests and belief that no one is a good person.
Weapons/Gear[]
Kid[]
None.
Teen[]
Frozen Katana: An icy blade that shockingly isn't the Sword of Ice.
Shiverchill Robes/Blizzard Garb: Altered to fit her.
Blizzard Boots: Altered, and ironically suiting.
Abilities[]
Fae/Fey Stepping: An ability that fairies and faeries have, triggered by instinct. It causes them to teleport a short distance away, bringing them to safety, or in some cases, behind the opponent for an advantage.
Prehensile: Her tail is prehensile, but she doesn't have a strong grip.
Strength: Like all other fairies, she's two times stronger than a human/wizard.
Flying: Obviously, she can fly.
Cold Resistance: The cold doesn't bother her as much as most.
Balance/Agility
Astral Magic: Scarcely used.
Ice Magic
Karma Manipulation: She can see, hear, and manipulate karma. She personally refers to the messages of foreboding karma carries as "The Whispers," as that's quite literally what they sound like to her. As for what they look like, they mostly appear as a "mist" around a person, colored depending on how much negative or positive karma they carry. If she is to touch or generally manipulate this "mist," it hardens into string-like energy, often horribly tangled with the other despairs a person might carry. When she gets ahold of this karma, however, a person's fate might come sooner than expected...
Shadow Magic: Her Karma Manipulation is strongly orientated around negative karma, as to being tied with Shadow. The exact details of this connection are kept to herself and the unfortunate witness, but from what one can figure out from observations, it's possible to assume she's ever so slightly related to the elemental - or worse, a creation of hers Whatever the case, she quickly picked up Shadow Magic, her ties with Shadow shining with it.
Void Magic: The crystals on her wrist function as a void relic, allowing her to use basic void magic and open rifts to and from the void. It also keeps her from fading in the void, similar to voidwalkers.
Domination: Similar to Honkai Star Rail’s Kafka’s Psychological Suggestion, it’s possible for her to cast mind illusions to manipulate a person into doing her biding. This requires a great bit of concentration and is difficult to use against those with stronger will of mind.
Shadow Shifting: The art of reforming your body with Shadow’s range of creation magic. Unlike shapeshifting, it requires a great bit of mana and can be harmful if done incorrectly. So far the only physical shift she can manage is turning herself into a (Shadow) dragon. She can also turn herself into pure shadow energy, similar to Luce.
Rifting: She can open a rift to and from the Void. She can’t rift directly to a said place, she must go through the Void. When leaving the void, she can only return to Prodigia.
Strengths & Weaknesses[]
Strengths[]
Storm Magic
Water Magic
Earth Magic
Ice Magic
Shadow Magic
Intelligence: Give her a rule book and she'll find every loophole. Give her a law book and she'll be her own lawyer. Give her a chance and she'll find a way to keep your life from being anything but ordinary.
Strong Instincts: *backing away* Hey there's no need to scratch- OW, OW, OW!
Weaknesses[]
Fire Magic: Regardless of later obtaining Shadow Magic, she's still sensitive to it.
Rules: The rules are her source of boredom. Henceforth, she's rebellious as she wants to have "fun".
Lumin Trees: If she’s casting a mind illusion, Lumin trees and it’s wood can disrupt it.
Failing a Shadow Shift: This can be fatal due to the misalignment of bones, internal bleeding, missing organs, etc. Sometimes it’s possible to survive a failed shift, but staying in the failed form is immensely painful and contains many drawbacks.
Trivia[]
- It's hard to tell if the rips in her jeans were intentional or gained from a fight. Who knows.
- She dismisses her mom's glove as ridiculous and will claw whoever has something to say about her not wearing gloves to pieces. In the most painful way possible, if I may note.
- She did not become a trainee until after the events of Greyshift Coronation.
- Despite being older, she's shorter than Rai.
- Notably, she's shorter then the rest of her siblings as well.
- Her horns were based slightly off those of Ganyu from Genshin Impact instead of pointing to the sides like Shadow's.
- The void crystals on her wrist much akin to the six-phase ice crystals protruding from Cocolia's right wrist in Honkai: Star Rail.
