Healing Weapons is an idea for wands in Prodigy.
Overview[]
What if all food themed wands had healing spells, doing no damage bonus when using a relic or Astral spell, but using a healing spell in place of the wand spell, taking 3 energy. This would make sense, as food in Prodigy heals instead of damages, so a wand, which is magical, should, in theory, be a never-ending food source. This would also add another element of choice and meta, while not being too over-powered, just like the Ice Dragon Tooth Crown trade-off. What do you think?
Also, 5 power bonus would be translated into 25% health, 10 to 50% health, 15 to 75% health, with only 2 uses per battle.
Improving Gameplay[]
It would allow for more strategising and trade-offs, making some players love it and some players hate it. It is also an "infinite" food source as long as attack energy is available, so is a better option to food, which is expensive in most cases, and hard to find in others.
Math Factor[]
Having healing wands means players can battle for longer, increasing the amount of questions answered, and is better than food as food doesn't require a correctly answered question to be able to be used.
