Honeycomb is a food within fanon Prodigy.
Appearance[]
An intricate chunk of honeycomb dripping with honey. The wax is not crushed or malformed having been cut straight from the bee box.
In-Game Description[]
In both Prodigy Math and English: "A sticky piece of honey-filled hive; it's bee-free, too. Eat up!"
Obtainment Methods[]
They can first be obtained in the Underworld where the player enters a cutscene with the Smuggler, who is kind enough to provide them a demonstration of how to harvest the various goods from bee boxes in different stages of colony development. This item is but one of the items that a player can harvest from them and is most commonly found in a mature bee box where the bees have excessive honey in their hive and need to get rid of it.
Effects[]
The user will have 75% to 100% of their health restored without overhealing. It will not damage the Smuggler, the only NPC that can consume it; the player; or pets. Pets of the Pincer Compatibility Type (see Breeding for compatibility types) and mice will have an additional 25% of their maximum health restored with overhealing, but this additional health will not show up on the health bar in battle. For the next three turns after being consumed, if the mouse or Pincer-type pet will be able to move twice per turn if active in battle.
Trivia[]
- When the Smuggler informs the player how bee boxes work, he said this about Honeycomb: "Additionally to Bee Bread, us mice like to eat the wax and honey from the boxes. It is highly nutritious for us, but if we eat too much, we can get sick from it. It's best to have it in moderation."
- It provides more health and greater effects to the consumer than Bee Bread.
