— India Croft
|
India Croft is an NPC not used in roleplay.
Appearance[]
An anthropomorphic jackal canine whose appearance is heavily influenced by golden jackals. Unlike Scoog, her hair is matted and golden-brown on the ventral side, a salt-and-pepper and silver on the dorsal side of her pelt. She has opposable thumbs on her black-clawed front and hind paws, which are used for gripping and climbing. Her tail is fluffy, but not prehensile.
She is always seen wearing pleated khakis with offwhite vertical pinstripes held up by a black belt with a copper clasp. She wears a white, short-sleeved blouse over it; her hat is a wide-brimmed one made of straw for sun protection. This is unusual because she is never seen outside of the museum.
Personality[]
Like Professor Scoog, she takes interest in wizards and other people that are mutually interested in collecting all possible fossils from the Dyno Dig. She prefers, however, to make money and would rather sell her items than strike up conversation. She is more shallow than amicable...at least that is what the Noot and player believe.
Weapons/Gear[]
Because India Croft does not battle and is, instead, a merchant, she sells objects within the Dyno Dig Oasis Museum. Her shop, under her own name, only appears when she appears after completing all quests in the Underworld and after completing the museum's collection. She carries an old metal crook on her back and appears to lack magic.

Abilities[]
India Croft is never seen participating in any form of battle, but it cannot be assumed that she has since she has a crook with her that seemed to experience wear from use. She only sells objects and communicates with players when clicked.
Trivia[]
- Her name is a nod to both Lara Croft of Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones.
- Rueful wanted to give India a small, diminutive job to add to her backstory. After hearing people make fun of commercial florists for their lack of benefits to current society, they wanted to show appreciation for these types of people by giving a strong Prodigy fan character a humble beginning.
