In fanon implementations, India Croft will possess the ability to speak. Because she does not have the technology to communicate in any other way, she must vocalise. Because she never drops items with notes, etches into rune tablets, or has a voice that plays in players' memories of her, she is always present on-screen when lines are triggered. She is a merchant without use in quests and is unable to speak when offsides.

- "Hey, wizard! I have wares."
- "Wizard! I'm a merchant."
- "Hello, wizard. I'm selling things."
Lines Triggered by Click/Tap (Bargaining)[]
- first time selling (aside) "Finally, a customer!"-->(directly now) "Hello, wizard. I'm delighted to see that you did wonders for the Underworld and have also stuffed this museum with your discoveries."-->"I am so glad to see this. I believe you would benefit greatly from my goods."-->"Here, take a gander."
- "Welcome back, wizard. I am still open for sales."
- "Hi again! I'm still selling."
Lines Triggered by Click/Tap (Sated)[]
If the player has purchased all of the finite objects in her store and has a full 99 of every other object she sells, these messages will the played instead of messages she normally says for customers that have not bought her out.
- "Hello. Unfortunately, you bought out all my goods at this time."
- "Hi. Sorry, but I have no available wares."
- "Hey, wizard. I'm currently out of things to sell. Come back once your inventory is less full."
