Iris is a protagonist in The Crystal Queen. She is the leader of the Caverners.
Appearance[]
Iris has white hair and pale skin. Her eyes are sky blue and her hair is always down. She wears the Glacial Ward and an ice blue, glistening crown. Her choice of boots are the Glacial Boots, and her weapon is the Frost Blade. She wears a small diamond pendant on her neck and there is a small purple star embedded into her blade.
Personality[]
Iris is serious and calm, hardly ever seen panicking. She is willing to give her life to protect her people and her friends.

Powers/Abilities[]
- Ice Magic: As the leader of the Caverners, Iris has to have control over ice. She isn't the most skilled with it, but she can still win in a battle using only her ice magic.
- Crystal Magic: It's a part of shadow magic actually. Iris can use her shadow magic to manipulate the crystals in the Crystal Caverns. Crystal Magic is the only type of shadow magic that Iris possesses.
Strengths[]
- Authority: Iris can get whatever she needs thanks to her high rank in the Caverns.
- Intelligence: Iris had learned a lot while her mother was still queen, and she knows a lot about the island and its history.
Weaknesses[]
- Inexperience: Iris became queen three years earlier than she should have, and worse, it was during a time of war. She wasn't entirely prepared for the trouble of being a leader, which leads to unwise or rash decisions.
- Lack of Diplomacy: Iris' mother was always diplomatic when it came to wars, trying to end them with peaceful arguments over tea instead of on the battlefield. Iris believes that's what caused her mother's death, and stopped trying to fight with words after, causing the deaths of many of her subjects. Iris mourns them everyday, but still refuses to change her opinions.

- She was originally meant to become queen when she was 20 years old, but due to her mother's death during the war, she ended up becoming queen three years earlier.
