Item creation is the process of constructing items in Prodigy English. Players can craft by using the normal methods of crafting in Prodigy English, where they may input items and select which they would like to receive from their inputs. They may also smelt items into other items to retrieve a fraction of the materials they used to craft or harvest those items, and they may brew potions and food to regain energy.
Overview[]
There are several forms of item creation that come through Crafting, Smelting/Cooking, Brewing/Food Creation, and Energy Transfer.
Crafting[]
Using a workbench or any other interactive furnishing that allows players to make objects from other materials, and crafting requires specific appliances depending upon type.
Woodworking & Stoneworking[]
Husbandry & Apiculture[]
Engineering[]
Cold Toolsmithing[]
Smelting & Cooking[]
Using a furnace, smoker, oven, stove, kiln, or forge may be necessary to smelt or cook specific items.
Ceramics[]
Cooking[]
Metallurgy[]
Hot Toolsmithing[]
Jewelry[]
Brewing & Food Creation[]
Brewing and food creation allow players to create potions, food, and other consumables without the use of heat. Making food usually takes an electrical source due to the blending necessary to make smoothies, for example. Interactive furnishings are absolutely necessary to brew coffees, potions, and other beverages. Using a refrigerator to chill certain foods may also be needed.
Infusion[]
Distilling[]
Blending[]
Chopping[]
Cooling[]

Energy Transfer[]
While sacrificing energy into a glowing buoy, sending them away without tying them to a dock or anchor will allow unknown forces to trade materials for energy. This trade takes energy from the player, meaning that they must add up to 9 energy into the buoy before sending it off. Because a buoy costs a lot of material to make, it may be best to apply as much energy as possible into the buoy before participating in the transfer. After 24 hours, a wooden crate should beach itself anywhere on the beach the player sent the buoy off to, opening and destroying itself upon the player's touch.
In the crate, there can be anything from clothing to materials to fully-crafted items that would normally take more energy to make altogether than if the player made them on their own.
Improving Gameplay[]
Players are able to receive items from other items for different benefits. It also provides players an outlet for their energy so that they may receive greater amounts of energy in the game after the process occurs.
English Factor[]
To create a new item or set of items, each creation requires correctly answering as many English questions as the quantity of products made by item creation.
Trivia[]
- This was inspired by both Minecraft's crafting and Animal Crossing's crafting methods.
