The land element is a fanon element in Prodigy. It is released with the Shattered Elements Update.
Overview[]
One of two non-damage-based elements (the other being the Wind Element), it serves secondary to the Earth element and is often present in the form of technical spells. There are no such thing as land-element entities, only creatures that can use land spells. Wizards cannot control this element.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
Land spells are normally:
- strong against Wind, Storm, and Nonmagical
- neutral against Astral, Ice, and Fire
- Earth, Water, and Shadow are immune to land spells
Wind Spells[]
- Tectonic Shift - Dourbed's Epic Attack.
- Geomancy - a range 3 spell that causes all enemies to be unable to cast critical hits for the rest of the battle.
Trivia[]
- The land element has an icon as well, and is multiplied by 2, 3, or more in move slots depending upon how many targets the moves can affect at a time. Icon(s) appear faded when their associated moves are disabled.
- This icon looks like a desert/mountain emoji.
- A war between monsters and the Order of Influence long ago separated the aspects of the Land and Earth elements, causing them to be classed separately. This violated the original design of the Prodigy universe.
Improving Gameplay[]
Adding this element increases the balance between all primordial elements despite being only secondary to the original five.
Math Factor[]
Math is required to cast a land spell.
