Loyalty is feature that affects the behavior of pets and monsters in Prodigy, rescued, adopted, or yet-to-be-adopted.
Overview[]
Wizards that wish to adopt a pet or make a pet more welcoming of the needs of its owner will need to increase their loyalty.
How Loyalty is Earned[]
- Using Pet Feed and Pet Enrichment Toys on the pets.
- Placing a pet in a preferable habitat.
- Earth element pets prefer earth-affinity fire-affinity habitats.
- Ice element pets prefer ice-affinity or fire-affinity habitats.
- Storm element pets prefer ice-affinity or storm-affinity habitats.
- Fire element pets prefer fire-affinity or water-affinity habitats.
- Water element pets prefer storm-affinity or water-affinity habitats.
How Loyalty Decreases[]
Loyalty can only decrease if the pet is placed in a habitat that they do not prefer.
- Earth element pets will not prefer water-affinity habitats.
- Ice element pets will not prefer storm-affinity habitats.
- Storm element pets will not prefer ice-affinity habitats.
- Fire element pets will not prefer earth-affinity or ice-affinity habitats.
- Water element pets will not prefer fire-affinity habitats.
How Loyalty is Used[]
- To adopt a pet, they must reach a 100% of loyalty to be adopted.
- Already owned pets that reach a loyalty level of 100% can still be traded or transferred, but will appear as having -10% loyalty to other wizards once they receive them (instead of the usual 0%).
Improving Gameplay[]
Loyalty allows wizards to potentially feel more compassion for the pets that they attempt to obtain and makes it more difficult for them to be obtained than, in some cases, Mythical Epics. Players may be more unlikely to release their pets, rather preferring to transfer or trade them.
Math Factor[]
To obtain most resources, like pet items needed for increasing loyalty, require gold from battles.
Trivia[]
It is inspired by both Friendship and Happiness from Pokémon.
