Meteorite is a character who is mentioned in Forged by Obsidian and appears in Dargon's Bane and Fluttery Love.
Appearance[]
She is a large Embershed built like a Western dragon. Her bodily scales are mostly velvet red, extending throughout her exterior; on her shoulders and thighs are darker maroon spots. Her chin and underbelly are tan and appear like sawtooth-laid plates extending toward her posterior. She has a pair of large, bat-like wings with tangerine membrane, matching her ears. She has a pair of tan wing claws near the midpoint between the base of her wings and their ends. She has a pair of sawtooth-laid ram horns that begin abve her eyebrows as dark purple and, in ombre, turn clementine-colored by the horn tips. Her thick tail ends in a perpetually-glowing flame.
Personality[]
Meteorite is a tame and quiet person that rarely wants to disturb anyone for anything. She is fiercely loyal to and the steed of Aria Stormchaser, and she would often give the wizard aid and comfort in battle by blocking attacks and cauterizing wounds with her tail flame. For each of her legs, she has three toe claws.
Weapons/Gear[]
While Meteorite has no weapons or gear, she can use their mouth to pick up large objects. Her natural defenses include her flight, bite, horns, and claws.
Abilities[]
- Fire Magic: She is somewhat skilled in Fire magic and pyrokinesis, but she has poor stamina.
- Storm Magic: Due to Storm-element parantage, she has somewhat strong electrokinesis and Storm combat magic. She cannot use this magic for non-combat purposes.
- Water Magic: She can cast weak single-target Water combat spells.
- Earth Magic: She can cast weak multiple-target Earth combat spells.
- Flight: Meteorite can use her wings to fly long distances.
- Multilingual: Meteorite can speak in both Monster and Wizard.

Trivia[]
- Her preference of housing is rather unorthodox: she likes darkness, shade, and high moisture levels. She sleeps best in caves and dungeons with only her tail to light the way.
- Aria Stormchaser gave her this name because the first impression that she made upon the wizard was that "she was as bright as a meteor falling in the sky."
