Miralyn Moonblade is one of the main characters of Tales of the Moon Fairies. She is the last of the group to die, following Umbra in jumping off a cliff.
Appearance[]
A rather short Moon fairy with slightly tanned skin. She has curly light blue hair with dark blue bangs, typically tied in a ponytail. She has large silver-gray eyes, translucent silver wings, and a white-gray tail.
She wears a loose dark blue shirt, bright blue leggings, gray boots, and a large belt with many pouches that hold basically anything useful. A simple gray quiver and bow made of pine wood are slung around her shoulders.
Gear[]
Belt: A thick brown belt with many, many, things inside. Herbs, money, arrow tips, the ashes of her dead friend, a pocketknife…
Bow: A treasured bow shoddily crafted out of pine wood. The carving inside is of a crescent moon, with her Norlian name written in its arc.
Quiver: A large silver quiver filled with arrows. It also has a few valuable items buried in the hidden storage inside.
Personality[]
Analytical, smart, and perceptive - but she’s not entirely reclusive. Rather, she uses her bountiful knowledge of mathematics to help the people around her. According to Artem, she’s rather predictable due to her orderliness, though that may just be their extreme closeness.
Miralyn does, however, find validation in her smarts, making any instance of failure unacceptable in her mind. After the genocide of the Moon Tribe and Artem’s death, she also develops a control obsession and detachment from the world, treating everything around her as a math equation.
As things gets worse, she does fall into reclusiveness and becomes terrified of losing anybody else - yet she seeks the security of the relationships she’s now lost. This results in her seeming to hallucinate her dead friends as she struggles to join them or bring them back to life.
