He woke up to the sound of an alarm clock, before stabbing it with the dagger that he slept with as if it was a teddy bear. He got up, and stared at the wrecked alarm clock. He shrugged, before putting on his black uniform jacket with dark blue slacks and getting ready for school. He got his Cloud Neek, tightened his bandana, and left his apartment, destined to start.

Episode 1: Back At It Again[]

He stood at the front of the class, along with the teacher, a tall man with a green shirt.

“Now, class, this is Kobe Kemono. He’s new here. Let’s be sure to treat him as if he’s one of you, even if he’s new, and for all you know, he could be weird and gross.”

Kobe sat down in an empty seat, next to a brown haired girl who had blue streaks in her hair. She smiled at him, but he didn’t smile back. The teacher kept blabbing for a few minutes, before the bell rang.

”Well, class, I guess it’s time to get your stuff for maaaath!” Said the teacher, happily.

Everybody left the room to go to their lockers. That was when Kobe was approached by one guy, who was wearing a white bandana. He also had a red helmet of hair.

”Hey there, Kobe.” Said the guy. “My name is Ray. Let me be the first to shake your hand.” Kobe shook his hand, and found out an interesting fact.

”So, I’m the leader of the Martial Arts club. We let anybody spar with us, but we also enter tournaments, which is where the club aspect comes in. Maybe you’ll join us someday.” Said the martial artist.

”Maybe I will.” Replied the trainer.

And with that, the bell rang again, and everyone went back to the classroom.

Everyone got out a green tablet-like device. Since Kobe was new, one was on his desk automatically.

”Alright, Kobe, what you’re supposed to do is answer the questions correctly on the tablet. If every student scores over 70%, we order pizza, so don’t screw up.” Said the teacher.

”Yeah, no pressure at all.” Snarked Kobe.

Kobe turned on his tablet, and up loaded an algebra problem. But then, his tablet seemed to glitch out before loading up a simple addition problem. The trainer still decided to solve it anyways. He saw a green check in a box next to the problem. He answered the next problem correctly too. The third problem, however?

Problem 3: 6̷̤̯̌̐̓9̴̯̰͍͓̝̙̱̙̲͙̅̈́̓̓͗̉͒͆̈̆̌̃͗̆̉͒̕͜7̵̛͍̺̤̱͂͛̈́̈͑͌̌̏̔̔+̸̡͖̮̦̤̘͚̜̹͙̻̙̬̮͑̽͂̆͆̀̈́̍̃̈́̓̂͗̈́̔͂͊͐̏̈́̚̕͠0̸̠͈̬̬͙͎̜̮͑̈̑͌̏̀̚͝^̴͕̩̲̞͙̭̖̤̰̮̻͙̫̙̺͓̫̖̅̾̈́̌̏͐̑͜͠ͅ7̷̢̨̧̜͉̠̼͔̙̹̱̰͇̼͚͙́̌͆̔͌̐̉̈́̊̄̈́̇̈́̀̍͗͑̋͝͠!̶̡̖̟̯͎̭̘̮̝̋̉͂̈́͗̽̂̇̋̃̇̄̚̕͠ͅ

Huh?

Kobe couldn’t understand, and so, he just put in a random number.

The blue streaked girl he was sitting next to looked shocked, before looking angry. She looked at the teacher.

Well, as soon as the test was submitted, the teacher looked very angry. He pulled out a ruler.

”Hey, what’s with the frown?” Asked Kobe.

”I get angrier for every problem you get wrong.” Said the teacher, as he slapped the ruler against his palm. He… warped towards Kobe, inch by inch, slapping the ruler on his hand every time he moved.

Kobe did not want to see what happened if he got close enough, so he bolted. Luckily for him, the bell rang, so he was able to roam the halls without being thrown in detention.

The trainer ran through the halls, at, like 30mph. The teacher following behind him. Eventually, Kobe dashed into a teachers’ lounge. He grabbed an old cassette tape off of one of the tables, and also grabbed a chocolate bar. He then dashed out, and inch away from the teacher’s grasp. He blew past the principal, who started chasing him while pointing.

”No running in the halls.” She said.

”Now I know how my dad felt when he was my age.” Snarked Kobe. Eventually, the principal caught up to him (Kobe slowed down, he doesn’t have the stamina his dad does), and he was teleported to a detention room. Inside were some desks, some windows, even a cassette player. He spotted a kid in the corner, who was trying to whisper to him.

”Yeah, whaddaya want?” Asked Kobe.

“Put that cassette in the player, it’ll confuse Mr. Regle.” Said the student in the corner.

”Mr. Regle? What kind of stupid @$$ name is that?”

”Just put in the cassette!”

”Fine, fine.”

Kobe put the cassette tape in the player. It started playing a weird noise.

”What’s this supposed to be, my Uncle Ben when he’s drunk?” He asked.

”No. It’s some sort of subliminal message.”

”Huh. That’s not creepy at all.”

Kobe then turned to leave, ultimately weirded out.

Like that kid in the corner said, Mr. Regle was confused, and didn’t know what he was doing.

”Just like my dad.” Snarked the pet trainer. Unfortunately, the green shirted teacher heard that, and started chasing after him again.

”Me and my big mouth…”

Kobe ran off, but he got tired in a matter of minutes. Once he lost Mr. Regle, he decided to eat the chocolate bar he stole. He replenished all of his energy seconds afterwards. So he kept running onwards, before crashing into a cheerleader. They both fell onto the floor. The trainer got right back up, but was stopped by the cheerleader, who also got back up.

”Hey, since you’re here, wanna help me with my cheer routine?” She asked.

”Sorry, but I’ve gotta-“

He was handed a spare pair of pom-poms.

“So all you need to do is copy what I do.” Said the cheerleader.

And with that, she pulled off a basic cheer routine. Kobe did the same thing she did. She then clapped for him.

”Wow, that was great. Maybe you should help me practice again sometimes.” She said.

”Or maybe not.”

Kobe spotted Mr. Regle, and he was literally a foot away from where he as standing. Kobe immediately ran away, but ran into a dead end. Then he spotted Mr. Regle, who was warping 2 feet a second. Kobe braced himself for impact when…

The bell rang.

Mr. Regle’s from quickly turned into a smile.

”Well, it’s time for class!” He said, in his usual exaggerated voice.

”But- you- who- huh- what?” Kobe was trying to form a sentence, but was too tired to.

”Well, see you tomorrow, and study hard!”

And with that, Mr. Regle walked away, leaving Kobe to fall down in exasperation.

Episode 2: Panic at the Martial Arts Club[]

The school day was over, and aside from being chased by the math teacher for getting a glitched problem wrong, everything was all fine.

That was when Kobe was stopped by Ray.

”Hey, Kobe.” He said.

”Hey, you…”

”Hey, do you wanna come check out the Martial Arts club?”

”Gee, I’m really not sure, I kind of wanna go home.”

”Come on, it’ll be quick.”

Kobe sighed. “Fine.”

And so, Ray led Kobe to Room 91, the Martial Arts club.

Inside were 4 other members, all of whom were practicing some sort of martial art.

”Alright. These are The rest of the guys. Why don’t you introduce yourselves?”

One guy with blonde hair smirked. “I’m Kenny.”

A girl with brown hair who also had a white bandana waved. “I’m Cherry, nice to meet ya.”

A man with a blonde flat top folded his arms. “I’m Gill. Hello.”

A girl with darker brown hair in buns smiled. “Everyone calls me Lina.”

Kobe waved at them, when he felt a sudden urge to leave the room.

”Hey, sorry, but I gotta go. I got tons of homework to do.” He said, before leaving. Ray waved as he left.

Kobe was walking to another room. Room 218. The room had a few desks with a chalkboard at the front. The blue streaked girl was sitting in one of the desks.

“Oh, it’s you.” He said.

The girl took her nose out of her book. “Hi there, Kobe.” She said. “Wanna help me with my homework?”

”What subject?”

”Math.”

”Yeah, no way.”

Kobe turned to leave.

”I can’t believe I left Ray for math…” he said, muttering.

The blue streaked girl glared.

When Kobe got back to Room 91, He was met with a punch to the face. The fist was thrown by Ray, who glared at him.

”Gee, you must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed.” He snarked.

Ray scowled at him. “If you really want to join the club, you have to fight your way through my club!”

”But you just asked me to come and check it out!”

”Too bad! You either fight us, or we’ll kill you!”

Now, this is the part where Kobe picks up on the fact that something is severely wrong, due to Ray’s sudden hostility, when he was the nicest and most sane person Kobe’s ever met up to this point, right? Nope, Kobe was too freaked out by this death threat to notice, never mind the fact that he’s faced worse than a mere death threat.

Immediately, Kobe was surrounded by the members of the Martial Arts Club. Ray, Kenny, Cherry, Gill and Lina all scowled at him, and got into stances.

”Hey, I though these matches were supposed to be one-on-one!” Said the trainer.

”Not in a real street fight!” Snarled Cherry.

Kobe then spotted the blue streaked girl at a nearby bench. What was she doing here?

Kobe would regret looking away, as he was kicked in the face by Gill, as he did some sort of backflip kick. Kobe took a moment to recover from the shock before he got serious. He got into a fighting stance. Gill went back in for another backflip kick, when his leg was caught by Kobe, and he was thrown onto the ground. Next up was Cherry, who ran up to him, and tried to punch him. Her punch was deflected by a midsection block, before Kobe punched her back, before elbowing her in the face with his blocking arm. Next up was Lina, who took a second before attacking him. She fired a… Bird shaped fireball at him.

Keep in mind, these aren’t wizards, they’re supposed to be normal humans.

Kobe was shocked, when he was pounced on by Kenny. Kobe freed up his arm, and in his hand was a capsule. He rolled the capsule towards the wall while his left arm was being twisted by the blonde fighter. The capsule hit the wall, in which a floating ice cream cone popped out of it. Cloud Neek could easily grasp the situation (unlike his moronic trainer, who was too fazed by a death threat to bridge gaps together), and zapped Kenny, who leapt up, and screamed in pain. Kobe got back up, and high fived his best bud.

Ray and Lina scowled at the two, so Cloud Neek put on his boxing gloves, Kobe tightened his bandana, and the two leapt into the fight.

Cloud Neek started up the fight by punching Lina across the face with a Rocket Punch, before blocking a kick from her. Kobe threw Ray over his shoulder, before kicking him in the head while he was down. Ray got back up, and tried to roundhouse his head, which was blocked.

Lina fired a bird fireball at Cloud Neek, only to be countered by a blast of electricity. This blast struggle kept going on until Cloud Neek flew up to the ceiling before divebombing the girl.

Kobe dodged a spinning back kick from Ray, who then tried to perform a swinging punch on him. Kobe blocked, before countering with a double palmed strike that produced a small bit of electricity. It blew Ray backwards, onto the floor. He jumped up, and did a skill roll towards our jack@$$ protagonist, so he jumped away.

Meanwhile, Cloud Neek kept trying to punch Lina, but kept missing. Eventually, he settled for zapping her, remembering that he’s a storm type monster.

Kobe kept dodging Ray, as he grabbed a training staff and tried to whack him in the head with it. Eventually, he blocked a direct hit with his forearms. Ray swung again, and Kobe kept blocking. After doing this for a while, Kobe grabbed the baton by sheer luck, before pulling it towards him, and kicking Ray in the groin.

Cloud Neek uppercutted Lina in the chin, knocking her over, before pouncing on her, and punching her in the stomach multiple times at full force. She stayed down after that.

Kobe held Ray’s arms underneath his armpits in a tight lock before head butting him. He then let go of his arms before they started clashing forearms. The fistfight got pretty intense from there, before Kobe threw him through a window (which was between the club room and the hallway) using a tomoe nage.

With Lina lying on the ground with massive stomach pains and Ray literally having been thrown out of a damn window, it was safe to say that the martial arts club was defeated.

”Yeesh, and Ray seemed like such a nice guy.” Said Kobe, shaking his head. He kneeled down to Cloud Neek, and gave him a fist bump before putting him back in his capsule. Kobe stood up, and walked away, hanging his head.

The blue streaked girl smirked. What’s she up to? Is she really the main villain?

Mission: Glitch!

Episode 3: Regle Gone Mad[]

Anyways, it was 2 weeks after Kobe’s first day at his new high school, and it was terrible. For one, whenever he met anyone remotely nice, they turned into an @$$hole real quickly. Not only has this spurned many a mutual affection, but some people even tried to kill him. For 2, Mr. Regle has been trying to kill him every time he gets a glitched problem wrong. Every time someone would call him out on it, he would say that he was just playing hide and seek, and Kobe would always be too tired to object, so this charade kept up. The only good news it that the cheerleader girl was the only one of the people he met that wasn’t a flat out douchebag in a few hours.

Today was some sort of test day, where the students would just have to answer questions on a tablet that covered every subject, and not just math. Kobe decided not to answer any questions right for his math test because he knew that he was going to be chased around anyways. So in math class, he picked up his tablet, and just typed swear words into the answer box. You’ve never seen someone get as angry as Mr. Regle.

He gravitated his ruler towards his hand, before charging at Kobe. The trainer pushed his desk over, before kicking it at Mr. Regle, and bolting out the door. Kobe immediately called out Cloud Neek, who sat on his shoulder, in case anything happened. He ran through the hallways, dodging students left and right. They went into the faculty lounge, and stole the cassette tape and chocolate before leaving. He got caught by the principal.

”No entering faculty lounges in the halls.” She said.

”How? I was in the lounge!”

“You were in the halls when you entered, therefore, you entered the room in the halls.”

”I guess that makes some sense…”

And so, Kobe was teleported to detention. He and Cloud Neek waved to the kid in the corner as the trainer stuck the cassette in the player, causing Mr. Regle to forget what he was doing as if he had ADHD or something.

”Man, I’m to bored to make a quip insulting my parents, who I bear no ill will towards anymore.” Said Kobe, who was talking to Cloud Neek. “Let’s just go.”

Kobe ran down the halls until he got to an orange shirted bully.

”Hey, gimme your shoulder ice cream!” He said.

”Listen, chummy, I’m not giving you Cloud Neek!” Replied Kobe.

”Well, if not, then I’m gonna block you.”

And he stayed that way, until Cloud Neek decided on a plan. Just give the bully what he wants. And so, Kobe gave Cloud Neek to the bully. When he tried to lick him, he was zapped. He fell on the floor, dropping Cloud Neek, covered in soot. Kobe caught Cloud Neek before running past the bully.

”That was pretty smart, bud.” Said the trainer. That’s when he was stopped by the cheerleader.

Now’s a good time to mention, her name is Sarah.

Sarah stopped Kobe in the halls, but rather than Pom Poms to force him to help her practice another cheer routine, she had a letter.

”Hey, can this wait, Mr. Regle’s gonna remember what he was doing any second now!” Said Kobe.

”Well, since he can’t remember, I need to give you this note.” She said, blushing.

That’s when Mr. Regle spotted the two, and warped at them full force. Kobe grabbed Sarah by the hand before bolting.

The bell rang, but Regle was still after Kobe. The only problem was that it was still a test day, so Kobe had to go to the other classrooms.

He went to the history classroom, and picked up a tablet. He answered every single problem wrong so that he wouldn’t be in one place for too long. The same went for geography, and science, and all that other stuff. Eventually, school was out, and yet Regle was still after Kobe and Cloud Neek (and also Sarah, who decided to tag along to make sure that Kobe would read her letter when he was done). Kobe made it to an exit, but it glitched into a regular wall.

”What?!” Yelped Kobe.

”Oh, don’t worry, there are 3 more exits!” Replied Sarah. “Come on!”

Sarah grabbed Kobe by the hand, and ran to a fire exit upstairs, near the principal’s office. That exit warped into a wall. Then, they tried another exit which was 2 rooms away from the history classroom. That warped into a wall. There was one last exit, and it in the cafeteria. Regle was waiting there for Kobe. He leapt at the trainer, when Cloud Neek zapped him. Kobe, Cloud Neek, and Sarah leapt over tables, and were finally allowed to leave through the exit. When they reached the exit, however, they didn’t see the outside of the school, instead, they saw a hallway leading to Mr. Regle’s office.

Kobe immediately felt something in his pocket, and pulled out what appeared to be a note.

“Great job, but you need more help with your studies. Go see Mr. Regle in his office for some tips.”

”Damn, I’m not going back into the same room as that psychopath!” Said Kobe.

”Well, we can’t go anywhere else!” Said Sarah. “Well have to go through.”

Kobe reluctantly opened the door to Mr. Regle’s office, only to see that Mr. Regle wasn’t there. Instead was the girl with the blue streak in her hair.

”Oh keepers, you found me.” Said the girl. “I was hoping that you’d find me. I’ve been waiting for you.”

”Why?” Asked the confused trainer.

”You see, I have something to say. Don’t play this game. Destroy it at all costs!”

“This is a game?”

”Oh, you don’t know. My name is Jennifer. You see, a few years ago, I was in school, when I found a little creature. He looked really corrupted. I tried to pet him, when he warped me terribly. I was a piece of code at that point. Unluckily for me, I had my GameKid in my bag, and so I ended up in there automatically.”

Kobe looked shocked for a few seconds, before he and Cloud Neek started laughing uncontrollably.

”Y-you expect me to believe that I’m in a game?” He said, in between laughs. He then started laughing harder.

The girl glared at him. “I’m serious!”

”Sure, and I’m the descendant of the Dragon Emperor.” Replied the trainer, sarcastically.

He then left the room before running into Sarah.

”How was it? Are you hurt?” She asked.

Now, there was a small chance that what the blue streaked girl said was true, and that Sarah really is just a piece of code. If that was the case, then Kobe didn’t wan’t her to have an existential crisis by telling her this. He might be an @$$hole and a war criminal, but even he’s not that cruel.

”Oh, yeah, Mr. Regle just gave me tips on negative numbers.” Said Kobe.

”Oh, that’s good, he calmed down.”

And so, Sarah held Kobe’s hand, as the 3 walked through the long hallway.

Episode 4: End of the Year[]

Now, school was going great for Kobe. He had been good friends with Sarah, and had managed to go without being attacked or chased for 8 months. He even made up with Ray. Cloud Neek was also happy, as nobody really seems to give a damn that he’s some magical floating ice cream cone creature, so he was allowed to be on Kobe’s shoulder in class. There was one problem though. Over the year, Jen had been telling him to destroy the game. Kobe still didn’t believe that this was a game (never mind the fact that stuff has been glitching in October, and everybody suddenly turned into an @$$hole when they’ve been nice to him previously), so he ignored her. It seemed like the end school year was gonna go normally from now on.

So, it was a Saturday, and Kobe was chilling at his apartment, playing some video games with Cloud Neek (who was surprisingly good at them), when he heard a knock on the door. Kobe paused the game, and walked over to the door. He opened it to find Sarah, who was wearing a red dress.

“Yeah?” Asked the trainer, who was wearing some new clothes he had bought yesterday.

”Um, I need a favor.” Said the cheerleader. "I left my books at school, and I really need to study for a test or I can’t graduate to the next grade.”

”How does failing one test make you ineligible?”

”I’m failing math.”

”Welp, can’t help you there. Math isn’t my strong suit, and you can blame Mr. Regle for that.”

Kobe was about to go back into his apartment, when Sarah grabbed his hand.

”Please, Kobe? Please?!” She begged. She even gave Kobe the puppy dog eyes.

”Alright, alright.” Said the trainer. “But I don’t know what I can do about it.”

”All you need to do is go back into the school, get my notebooks from every classroom, and give them back to me.”

Kobe fell over in shock.

”YOU LEFT YOUR BOOKS IN EVERY CLASSROOM?!”

”Well, I don’t have the best track record when it comes to memory.”

“F*cking-“

Kobe went over to Cloud Neek, and extended his arm out to him. Cloud Neek flew up his arm, and onto his shoulder. He then went back to the doorway.

”I can find your notebooks, but you’re coming with me.”

”No, I can’t, I have to go to my aunt’s house. It’s her birthday.”

Kobe sighed, before grabbing his things, walking out, and closing his door.

In a few minutes, Kobe and Cloud Neek arrived at the school, and opened the doors, which for some reason, were unlocked. Weird. He entered the schoolhouse and found a weird figure standing there. It was Jennifer. She just stood there at the long end on the hallway. Kobe shrugged, and entered the math classroom. Then, a note popped up in front of him.

”Stop.” It read.

”And here I thought that I’d have a decent end of the year.” He snarked.

Kobe grabbed the book and left. He went to the history classroom, before another note popped up.

“Seriously, stop.”

Kobe shrugged, before leaving yet again. That’s when he spotted Jennifer. She was moving towards him. Kobe had already done this before, immediately bolted. Now, Kobe tried to pull all his usual tactics that he used when outrunning Regle. He tried to use the cassette tape, but Jennifer wasn’t affected, and kept following him. He tried grabbing a soda, and spraying it at her, but even though she was blow backwards, it only lasted 2 seconds as she phased through the soda. He tried having Cloud Neek zap her from a safe distance, but to no avail.

Kobe simply decided to keep his distance and keep collecting the notebooks. Eventually, he and Cloud Neek collected the seventh notebook in the cafeteria. He was about to go through the exit, when Jennifer warped there, closing it off.

”Aha, you moron! You really though that you could avoid me any longer, didn’t you?” She said.

”Well, to be honest, I did.” Replied Kobe.

Jen sighed.

”Listen, you need to join me. Destroy the game, and we can join in unity. We can escape to the real world!”

”Nah.”

Jen walked towards Kobe.

”You will join me!” She said, her tone more forceful. “You’re the first real person that I’ve seen in years!”

At this point, Cloud Neek hopped off of his shoulder, and flew to the kitchen.

”Well then, you’re gonna be waiting a lot longer.” Snarked Kobe.

Kobe Ashton Kemono, if you don’t join me-“

”Ooh, middle name. I guess I’m really in trouble now, Mom.”

Jennifer then decided to try a different approach.

”Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to snap like that.” She said. “I just forgot all of the perks that you get when joining me in destroying the game.”

”Like what?”

”Well, for starters, you get…”

She caressed his cheek.

”Me.”

Kobe was feeling pretty uncomfortable, but he decided to play it cool.

”Get real. I wanted a good perk, not some hallucinating drug addict.”

”Oh, but there’s so much more to me than meets the eye, darling.”

Around this point in time, Cloud Neek came back with several cartons of milk.

At this point, listen to this for more immersion.

Jennifer grabbed Kobe by the arm in an attempt to pull him in for a kiss. Kobe promptly kneed her in the stomach.

“No!”

He and Cloud Neek got outta there, while Jenifer stood there, immensely weakened. As Kobe and Cloud Neek were running through the halls, she started laughing madly.

”Okay, okay, you’re really gonna regret that one.” She said. She started screaming, the entire high school glitching wildly, before running after Kobe.

”Alright, so I said no, and got outta there. Now I gotta tell somebody I trust.” Said Kobe, who was reviewing some stranger danger info Ansat gave him.

As Kobe was being chased, he pulled out his phone, and called for Sarah. Cloud Neek, on the other hand, threw his cartons of milk on the floor, causing Jennifer to slip and fall. That’s when Kobe noticed an open exit. It glitched into a wall.

”Great.” He said.

He ran to the other exits, but they warped into walls, too. Not even the last one, which was open the last time this happened. There was only one place left to go, which was the roof.

Kobe and Cloud Neek scampered up to the roof, where there was nowhere to go but down. Jennifer followed him up there.

”What’re you gonna do now, sweetie? Join me, or die along with the rest of this pathetic game?!” She screamed.

“Is that multiple choice?”

“N̶̢̢̨̛͇̣̤̙͈̠̘̗̂̎̽̐̂̀͋͒͆͂͊͆̑͗̅́̊̕͠Ǫ̸̨̲̺̹̝͕͙͚̖̭̥̹̊̐̔͆̽͆͒̾̈́͐̎́̊͋̒̆̒͜͝!̸̡̳̞̹̦̟̟̹͎͉̟̹̥̤̰̼̜̗̬͙̌͛̀̋͑͠“

”Too bad, I guess I’m gonna have to skip this question!” Said Kobe, who leapt off of the roof very impulsively.

Who knows, maybe ADHD runs in the Lightningheart family.

Anyways, luckily for Kobe, he somehow landed on a windowsill, which was above some grass. The windowsill in question was closer to the ground than the roof was, so he leapt down from there.

Jennifer followed him, just by leaping down directly, as she couldn’t suffer any fall damage, due to completely controlling the game at this point. She chased him towards the gates, where Sarah was waiting.

”Oh, hey, Kobe. I got to come home early since my aunt got arrested by the FBI for weapons smuggling.” She said, keeping a straight face.

”Gee, that’s very nice and all, but I’m a little busy.” Replied Kobe. He tried to throw the books over the gates, but the gates got higher, so they just fell down.

Jennifer warped towards him, pulling her fist back to punch him, when Cloud Neek punched her instead with his Rocket Punch. Jen glitched out, before screaming into the sky, and setting the grass on fire. The fire spread very quickly everywhere except for where the 3 were standing.

No more running. Kobe and his best pal were locked into a fight to the death with a reality warping nutjob.

Cloud Neek started the fight off with a burst of electric energy, which hit Jen, and knocked her backwards. She summoned a sword in her hands, and slashed at the Neek. He dodged, and leapt backwards, behind Kobe, who pulled out his dagger.

They slashed blades at each other for a short while, before Cloud Neek zapped her, which caused her to drop her sword. Kobe laughed, only to get blasted dangerously close to the fire. Before he could get back up, Jennifer stomped on his chest.

“You could’ve joined me in destroying the game, but now you have to die because of it. Game over!” She said, laughing.

Kobe grabbed his dagger, and jabbed her ankle. She sharply inhaled in pain, before glitching out a little. This gave Kobe the opportunity to escape, grab her by the arm, and push her face very close to the fire.

”Give up yet?” Asked Kobe.

“N̶̢̢̨̛͇̣̤̙͈̠̘̗̂̎̽̐̂̀͋͒͆͂͊͆̑͗̅́̊̕͠Ǫ̸̨̲̺̹̝͕͙͚̖̭̥̹̊̐̔͆̽͆͒̾̈́͐̎́̊͋̒̆̒͜͝!̸̡̳̞̹̦̟̟̹͎͉̟̹̥̤̰̼̜̗̬͙̌͛̀̋͑͠“ replied Jen, who elbowed the trainer in the ribs, before escaping from his hold.

Kobe clutched his left rib in pain, while Cloud Neek leapt into battle.

Cloud Neek Rocket Punched Jen in the face, and in the stomach. She quickly hit him back with a chair she summoned. Cloud Neek relented, and got back up. He then tried to dive bomb her. She dodged, and he almost burnt his gloves off. She then kicked him in the butt (wait, where would his butt be if he doesn’t have legs-), and was about to finish him off, when Kobe put her in a Full Nelson.

”Cloud Neek, use Ion Cannon!” Commanded the trainer.

Jennifer couldn’t move, and so, she watched as a blast of electricity hit her and Kobe. They both fell backwards, and all the fire disappeared before they could hit the ground.

Everything went back to normal, so Kobe tried to return Sarah her books, but he, Sarah and Cloud Neek had their ears (wait Cloud Neek doesn’t have-) assaulted by a deafening shriek. It was Jennifer, who’s body was constantly glitching in and out of existence as she growled and muffled her yells.

Everyone was uneasy.

Jennifer started screaming, causing the whole world to glitch out, until she stopped herself, feeling a great pain in her chest.

”Okay, okay, calm down,” she said to herself. She turned towards Kobe. ”Okay, I see why you keep blowing off my warnings, you little b*tch,” said the girl. “You think that I’m some sort of joke, huh? You think that you can just ignore my warnings because you think that I’m being funny?!”

“Well, I-“

”Let me spell it out for you. I. Am. Not. Joking. You need to help me destroy this game, or else.” Continued Jennifer. “If you don’t, then I’ll just have to come over there and ď̷̼̜̰ę̷̡̛̬̺̘͖̂͑̃ŝ̷̨̫̙̹̼̼̫̲̫̦͂̓͘t̴̢̙̣̾̓̈́r̵̨̼͓͔̪̖͕̼̃̇̔͗̒͆̆̈́̀̚ͅȯ̶͕̼̩̤͓̈́̽̂̿͌̓͛́͝y̴̢̘̤͉̲̬̅̍͛̑͆̐̕ͅ ̷̣̱͓̦̫̝̝̀y̴̡̖̰̬͎̘̪͚̐̒͗ͅo̴̡̜͓̬͕͔͆̀̚ͅṳ̸̧̢̢̙͉͎̥͂̅̔̈́̍̅́̃͒͛ ̶̧̔̃͗̋̊̆i̶̤̭̪̝̘̟̠̓̈̈́̀̐͗̓n̶̢̟̞̮̪͕̎̀̑͋͆ͅͅs̷͎̮̟͇͍̹̈́̆͆̏̀́̇̕͜͝͠ͅţ̸̩͇̮̒̿̚̕e̴͓͍͐̔͗͂̕ạ̶̖̟̗͍͙̍̕d̴̮̺͔̥͗̄̏̈̽̆̅̊͛̽!”

Jen started glitching out the entire world around her, frightening everyone. Jen herself was also glitching out. She started glitching while screaming so badly that...

She vanished. She just disappeared. Nobody knew what happened. She just disappeared. That was when a mysterious, glitchy, 4 armed creature of sorts appeared where she used to stand. She roared in black speech. This was a glitchling.

You see, a glitchling is a mysterious creature that likes to glitch things in reality. Glitchlings can mostly be harmless, but they can corrupt people, and turn them into code. It just so happened to be the one that corrupted her in the first place, and she had been corrupting her code for years.

The glitchling raised her arms, about to glitch something, when Kobe threw a capsule at her. The capsule glitched intensely, before going back to normal. It seemed that the glitchling was happy inside there.

Kobe picked up the capsule, before extending his arm to Cloud Neek, who sat on his shoulder.

”Well, that was… something.” He said, sort of bugged out.

Sarah was also very scared.

”Can I crash at your place? I don’t wanna walk home alone.” She said.

And so, the three went back to Kobe’s apartment, all completely freaked out by Jennifer essentially trying to pull off a kamikaze.

Epilogue: Summer Break[]

It was the last day of school. Everyone was saying their goodbyes. Kobe was chatting with Ray, when he heard the bell ring. Everybody ran outside. As Kobe and Cloud Neek strolled outside of the school, Sarah stopped them.

”So, Kobe, what’re you two doing this summer?” She asked.

”Well,” said Kobe, reaching into his bag. “I’m going home. It’s been fun, but I have certain things I gotta take care of.”

Sarah’s face drooped. “Oh.”

”Hey, don’t worry. I might come back again someday.”

Sarah gave Kobe a big hug, before patting Cloud Neek on the head.

”I’m gonna miss you guys.” She said.

The cherry blossoms were falling. Yes, it’s because this game was an anime parody.

Kobe pulled out his rift gun, and blasted a rift into the side of a wall. He and Cloud Neek waved goodbye to Sarah as the rift closed, and they passed through.

They exited the rift, the other side being Firestorm Laboratories, where Ben was working on an invention, and Max was eating pizza.

“Sweet.” Said Kobe. “We’re finally back in the real world.”

”Whoa, dude, nice uniform.” Said Max.

”Thank you.”

”Hey, tapeworm, how was your year?” Asked Ben.

Kobe stayed silent, disturbed by his entire school year. He finally spoke up.

”My year was fine.” Said the trainer.

“Well, I realized that you missed a whole week of universe saving, so you’re not going back next year.”

”Fine by me.”

And so, Kobe and Cloud Neek left the lab, Kobe stuffing the capsule in his bag, while Max followed them.

And so, this was the end to his stupid adventure.
