In fanon implementations, Newton will not possess the ability to speak. He is not alive during the time of the events of the story, so his voice lines play through notes, books, and etchings. His character texture beside his speech when lines are triggered is darkened like that of the canon Wardens when players are spoken to telepathically.
Note Lines[]
These lines are triggered when a player interacts with a Note by Newton in the Astral Warden's quarters. They cannot pick up these notes until they are done reading them. The notes are identical in texture to Bounty Notes except for a shiny yellow and orange ribbons in place of a red ribbon. These notes are not stackable and are given numbers to indicate their text.
Yellow Notes[]
These notes are the most easy to encounter because they lack lore related to the story. The Newton_Happy_Faded texture is applied next to these texts.
Note by Newton 1: I am glad that there are paper products on the island. I would have nothing to write on otherwise.
Note by Newton 2: This is some lovely paper. My Squarrel ink does not bleed through it as readily as my old paper.
Note by Newton 3: I find it wonderful that there are Floatlings who are willing to construct the Academy for free.
Note by Newton 4: The Academy has no room to be constructed on this hilly earth. It needs to levitate.
Note by Newton 5: 'Tis difficult to understand how Floatlings themselves defy the laws of the universe at home. How can they jump without falling so fast?
Note by Newton 6: Note to self--you can make the splash zone from a "cannonball dive" of greater size in water if you have greater mass. Swimming with the Floatlings was surprisingly fun.
Orange Notes[]
These notes were written during the time after Newton and the other Academy founders were given gifts from The Ancient. The Newton_Grateful_Faded texture is applied next to these texts. They have more to do with the story of Prodigy and are harder to encounter.
Note by Newton 7: It is wonderful how I have met the Prodigy Universe's creator. She--I mean they--seem more benevolent than I expected.
Note by Newton 8: Harmony is a brilliant name for her--them. They definitely have the strength to keep elemental balance for years to come.
Note by Newton 9: The inhabitants of Harmony's Island are irritating and vile. I cannot believe Harmony would create them, but I can, at least, understand their desire to have someone to talk to.
Note by Newton 10: Without the benefits that Harmony gave to the others and I, we would not be able to secure a place in the new world.
Note by Newton 11: I am awestruck!--Harmony is not just a floating head made of stone. They are a full giant...I hope they do not mind me asking to stand on their shoulders and see the island from their perspective.
Note by Newton 12: The Academy foundation has finally been built. I hope Harmony surveyed it properly to be able to guide the Floatlings to the best places to add granite.
