Normal Vending Machines are fanon interactive furniture items for Prodigy.
Appearance[]
They are smooth-cornered recangular prisms of refrigerated objects not attached to a power outlet. Each box has a dark green, slanted top and bottom, their edges parallel and diagonal. Small stickers of mouse-faced emojis and advertisements for enrolling in the Academy are placed on the side, with yellow post-it notes with scribbles on the front to denote which items are out of stock (these are present on the interface, effectively covering the cells that lack any vendable items in them). The bottom reception flap is gray to contrast with the green, and opens occasionally on its own.
When in the interface, players are able to see which items are being vended in the chilly interior environment. Quantities of each item are available next to the cell value plates below each cell: these are denoted by a number and a letter, A through G and 1 through 5 for a minimum of 5 (theoretically 1) and a maximum of 35 vendable objects at a time in any given vending month.
In-Game Description[]
"Vending machines will never not give players their items unless the games are broken. In Prodigy, no transactions devices break unless instructed to!"
Improving Gameplay[]
It will allow players to purchase items using transaction devices in the real world; this may grow young children's monetary management and spending skills as well as teach them how to use vending machines in real life if they have never used them before.
Math/English Factor[]
In Prodigy Math Game or Prodigy English, each player must cast a successful spell as energy for the Normal Vending Machine to do its necessary work. Per transaction, one correct answer is necessary.
Trivia[]
- Prodigy Math Game players can somehow get their own Normal Vending Machine once from the first Normal Vending Machine in the Underworld.
- Since the available items and quantities of items in Normal Vending Machines vary throughout the Underworld and in different villages (the town centers of each village stock up differently each month, variable between players in Prodigy English), items change every 30 days. There are times where no items are available in vending machines, but this occurs only after the player sweeps out a machine. At least one item for five different item names are available per machine in both games upon entering at the first of the month.
