Opal is a character who appears in Xenophobe and Warfare.
Appearance[]
Child[]
Opal had long black hair, tan skin, and freckles. She had green eyes and typically wore a short green dress of some sort.
Teenager[]
Opal has chin-length black hair and bangs with a streak of rainbow hair dye, tan skin, and light freckles. She has green eyes and black round glasses. She wears green robes and a colorful backpack. A long birch wand is strapped to her side, with a little green dragon coiled around it.
Gear[]
Firefly Hat: She says it’s magical… what does it do?
Jester’s Robes: Enchanted to ring out ridiculous things, just to annoy her family.
Dragonwing: Actually just her pet dragon, Chlorophyll, on a simple wand. Why she named the dragon it’s name is still unknown.
Backpack: A tye-died backpack filled with a notebook, a camera, binoculars, a pack of gum, hand sanitizer, chapstick, a mirror, tissues, her mandrake, a pocketknife, a flashlight, a pack of batteries, a pen and pencil, an eraser... dig deep enough and you'll fall into another world.
Mandrake (Greenie): Named for the professor, and for some reason carried around everywhere.
Strong Earth Relic: Given to her by her mother.
Personality[]
Opal is mature and maternal, smothering her brother and being very nice and bubbly to most around her. She's serious at times, but she has a fun side. Extremely passionate about things she loves and likes to “follow her muse”, as she puts it. She’s a philosopher, abstract artist, violinist, pianist, singer, songwriter, cook, baker, bird watcher, photographer, gardener, yoga enthusiast, rock climber, interpretive dancer, clothes designer, poet, playwrite… she’s got lots of hobbies.
Currently, she’s developed an obsessive maternalism, attempting to take on her aunt Juniper‘s role far too young. She’s also a major perfectionist/control obsessor, needing everything to be pitch-perfect and completely according to plan. She remains a hobbyist, but becomes so obsessed with them they become distractions from her home life.
Abilities[]
Telekinesis: Opal can use telekineses, even if she’s not very good.
Agility: Opal is agile and fast. In fact, she regularly does gymnastics.
Strength: Opal does soccer, rock climbing, and swimming… making her very athletic.
Braille: Due to her brother being blind, she is experienced in using Braille and block letters.
Ambidextrous: Opal is ambidextrous and likes drawing with both hands.
Multitasking: Opal can multitask, and well. Cook, watch her pets, recite poems, and compose a song at the same time? Easy.
Earth Magic: From both her wand and her relic.
Astral Magic: She naturally possesses it.

- Opal’s design is based off Opal from Avatar. Literally, slap some glasses on her and rainbow hair dye on her and there she is.
