Player Mail is a simple game feature for Prodigy English. It functions as an educational tool for all young players. It is released with the Crystal Caverns Update in Prodigy English FSRV.
Overview[]
Players can access their player mail immediately next to the magnification button in the overworld, which is located at the bottom right of their screen. The icon is circular and contains a blue envelope symbol.
It allows players to receive game information and helpful tips every day. Whenever there are no major updates for the game, the player can still look forward to two pieces of mail, at minimum, each day. One is always sent from Prodigy Education and teaches the player about an English topic in their grade level; it does not have to be the same topic they are currently learning "at school." The other is sent from the Unnamed Wishie, the person that originally introduced the player to their village.
When there is an update for Prodigy English that releases a major new feature, e.g. the introduction of Player Mail in the Crystal Caverns Update, the player receives a bright piece of mail with the color scheme of the new feature. These pieces of mail are usually sent by either Prodigy Education or by a game NPC.
Improving Gameplay[]
Players are able to get information about game updates. To avoid confusion and difficulty for developers, it has the exact same capabilities as Wizard Mail in Prodigy Math.
English Factor[]
Players that receive a daily piece of mail from Prodigy Education will be able to learn more English without the hassle of having to solve English problems. However, this feature must be voluntarily opened, and players can choose to discard the mail before they read it.
