Pluto is a character and pet of Caltrop and their son, Skyler Lightningdrifter.
Appearance[]
He is a medium-sized jackdaw with a sleek, 40-cm long body. He has thick, matted dark gray feathers that appear almost black even in daylight. He has the telltale black crest that goes barely behind his bright eyes. His beak is sharp and shaped like any other corvid's--an ice pick. When he flies, his tail spreads out to a fan shape. He wears a small, bead-shaped tracking anklet on his right leg.
Personality[]
He is a truly clever bird and a good friend of his owners. While he does have time off, he will gladly carry small scrolls and light papers over short distances to help Caltrop deliver letters...as long as he is given ample food.
Weapons/Gear[]
Pluto's beak and talons count as his only weapons. He is fragile and cannot carry magical weapons.
Abilities[]
These are animal-based abilities that are not considered true abilities.
- Language Mimicking: Pluto can repeat words and phrases that he picks up on, but he cannot use his words to communicate his own needs.
- Puzzle Solving: If rewarded with meat or nuts, Pluto will solve basic logic problems involving memory and pattern recognition. He can use basic tools, like sticks, to solve these puzzles.
Combat Information[]
Because Pluto is a jackdaw, he has no element and cannot participate in battle.
Trivia[]
- The way to Pluto's heart is through offerings of food. He enjoys uncooked rodent, fruits, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and fish. He dislikes and feels sick if he eats cheese and avocados, and absolutely cannot eat chocolate, apple seeds, or onions.
- Pluto is allowed to be free-range within Treacherous Taiga.
- He is immortal.
