Chapter One[]
A blur of brown raced through the Academy, and turned the corner. Brown hat, hair, skin, robe, boots, and eyes. Vivian Flameheart rushed through the halls, about to be late for class, alike usual. She nearly crashed into her younger sister, Cassidy, but fortunately she brushed past her, spinning her around and knocking her off her feet. Cassidy landed to the floor with a thump.
"Sorry!!" Vivian called over her shoulder, not bothering to look back. Meanwhile, Flare was waiting impatiently for Vivian and two other students.
Crystal Goldleaf whispered to Henri Riverwalker, "Where do you think that Vivian has gotten to?"
"Oh," He said, "Probably running late again." Vivian turned the corner, rushing into the room. she tried to skid to a stop, but was tripped up by some miscellaneous boots on the ground and went flying. Crystal and Henri ducked down under their desks, and Vivian soared over their heads and landed on the ground. A pile of papers flew up in the air as she landed.
"Well," Said Flare, looking at the clock. "at least you are on time, for once!" Vivian popped her head out of the pile of papers and grinned. Crystal shook her head after she and Henri had came out from under their desks.
'I can't believe that being on time is her biggest concern right now,' Crystal thought. As the two other students came in and sat at their desks, Flare used her wand to have the tests fly out to everyone's seats. A few people reached up and caught theirs, but one seemed to have a mind of its own. It flew about the room, dodging what people shot at it. Finally, Flare burned it, got out a new sheet, and handed it to the person who did not have one.
Vivian sighed. "Welp." She said as another paper got up and flew around the room. "Here we go again!" She stood up and helped attempt to catch it.
