It is second period. The students have sat down for Earth class. The bell rings.
Florian: Hello, everyone!
Other Students: Hi, Florian!
Joy: Hi, Mister Grass!
Sam: Hi, Gym Mister!
Orville: Hi, Planty!
Florian: (to Sam, Joy, and Orville) I am not Mister Grass or Gym Mister or Planty. (He turns back to the rest.) Orville's brother is coming to the Academy today.
Other Students: Ugh, again?
Cameron, Sam, Joy, and Orville: (excited) Yeah! (Florian goes to the door. A new kid enters the classroom. He is white and has dark-brown hair and lime-green eyes. He is wearing a plain forest-green shirt, blue shorts, and heavy shoes. He has sleepy eyes and a frown on his face.)
Florian: This is Jonah.
Jonah: (waving) Hey.
Everyone Else: Hi! (Jonah notices Sam, Joy, and Orville. He gets excited.)
Jonah: (excited) JOS?
Sam, Joy, and Orville: (astonished, excited) Jonah? (Jonah rushes over and hugs each of them.)
Jonah: (to Joy) Are we still the J-Cuzzies?
Joy: What are J-Cuzzies?
Jonah: You don't remember?
Joy: You know we haven't seen each other for 55 years.
Florian: Joy, are you actually 55? (He taps his clipboard with his fingers 3 times.) It says here you are nine.
Joy: That means I haven't seen Jonah in forever.
Jonah: Didn't we meet when we were three?
Joy: I don't remember anything from when I was three! (Jonah leaves.)
Florian: Jonah, wait! (Jonah runs to the elevator as Florian chases him. Jonah reaches the elevator and slips inside. Florian lunges for him, but the door closes, and he bangs his head on it.) Oh dear. (Sam, Joy, and Orville follow Jonah down to the blacktop. When they get there, Sam is tired from running, so he lays on the blacktop in the spring sun and goes to sleep. He snores loudly, causing the Academy's roof to crumble. Joy, Orville, and Jonah snore with him, causing a world tremor.)
Florian: (at a godlike volume) Run for your lives!
Meanwhile, a 3rd-grade girl is playing Prodigy Math when the game begins to glitch violently. Everything becomes a sprite sheet of that thing, apprentices appear upside down, and NPCs say something like "kxvmcnophqrszyiadlegwbuft," "HHHHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP MMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE," or "0SZru_O-Xnw".
Girl: (wailing) Mommy! Prodigy is wrecking the game! Help me!
Girl's Mom: (indignantly) Ask dad! (Suddenly, Earth experiences a world tremor.) Just uninstall it and it's gone!
Girl: (scared) Okay! (She exits the game and uninstalls it, but when she does, the world tremors on Earth and in Prodigia becomes cosmic tremors.)
Meanwhile, in Prodigia, the glitches on the tablet invade the lands. Sam, Joy, Orville, and Jonah realize what they're doing and wake up, but it's too late.
Other Students: (under their breath) Oh, Harmony. We are helpless.
Wardens: (yelling) Detentio— (The Academy collapses onto all of them. A virus cleans up the debris.)
It is about 6:36 PM near the Academy. The students are on the Training Grounds with Florian, who has a black eye from earlier.
Jonah: How do you cast "Shrubbery Strike?" What does that even mean?
Orville: (uproarious) If we don't know anything, let's make a war! All of us versus Florian!
Other Students: Yeah!
Florian: What in— (The students pursue him and cast random spells at him while their pets join.) Put me down! (The students stop fighting him but resume almost a minute later, causing Florian to reactivate his godlike volume.) Do your work or stay forever! (The students stop fighting him but, rather than going back to work, stuff him with cheese pizza. He eats all the slices and inflates to the size of the Academy.)
Students: (triumphant) Heheheha! (They run off into the sunset. Florian makes a face and growls.)
