FourSevensRueful Version |
Prodigy English Multiplayer is a fanon feature for Prodigy English. It allows more than one player to connect to the same map at the same time. This version is heavily inspired by the multiplayer features of Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Overview[]
Players must enter another player's village code to enter that village. All village codes are ten characters long and they are case-sensitive. Players have to use a blue envelope button added to the bottom right of their overworld interface, then go to their multiplayer prompting interface (accessible by a large green button saying USE MULTIPLAYER) to see both their code and an inputbox to enter a different code.
In the Multiplayer & Messaging Update, players are introduced to a placeholder server under the code ANI-MAL-IA01. This server cannot be accessed outside of the tutorial to the update.
Players that enter a different village other than their own are unable to change or edit the landscape, and therefore Engineering Mode is inaccessible. Players also cannot fulfill any of the village owner's quests, use their shops at the Dock, or use their stylist. However, players can visit these while other players are active just so they can chat.
If a player is done with playing on multiplayer, a red BACK button is available to the left of the envelope button so that they can go back to their own village.
If a player finds out that furnishing in the world they visited was inappropriate, they can use a report feature to report the world. If Prodigy Education finds that there is an inappropriate placement of furnishings, they will permanently close that player's village to multiplayer. When this happens, both the player's parent will be emailed and the player will receive a warning in their Receive Invitations feature.
Trivia[]
- The server ANI-MAL-IA01 is a reference to the Prodigy Math world called Animalia, the most popular multiplayer server in the game.
- Players that have their villages locked from multiplayer can have their parents send an email to appeal the lock, but Prodigy Education can do as it wishes.
Improving Gameplay[]
Players that are bored with the mundane singleplayer of Prodigy English might find it fun to have it made a multiplayer game.
