There are several policies as to what type of pages can be created. Pages which fail to follow these policies will immediately face deletion.
Reasons for Deletion
Reasons for deletion include, but are not limited to, the following:
Regarding All Content (Applies to all Types)
- Has an inappropriate title (a title including cursing, profane symbols or script, is unreadable, or contains discriminatory terms or slurs) that have not been changed to an appropriate one within 7 days and is not community-maintained.
- Advertising, vandalism or spam without relevant content e.g. "See my cool site" or "Prodigy is awesome!"
- Is categorized with an unusual category (one that is not a "user content" category, a category for a fanfiction or roleplay series, a maintenance category, or follows any of the other existing category types) not established through a discussion.
Regarding Content Articles
- Articles that are under 2 paragraphs and are supposedly "completed".
- Has not been edited in at least 1-2 years and is a incomplete Fanfiction or incomplete Roleplay.
Regarding Templates
- Is redundant or otherwise useless.
Regarding Categories
- Is an unusual category not established through a discussion.
Regarding Images and Other Media Files
- Is a gallery or repository of images e.g. "Gallery of Prodigy Comedies".
- Is unused, obsolete, or otherwise violate our image policy.
- Contains any content deemed to be over the PG-13 (image) rating by content moderators and administrators.
Processes
- Pages that fulfill at least one of the above criteria should be tagged with
{{delete}}by non-administrators, and be simply deleted by administrator. - As soon as a content moderator or administrator recognizes a page or uploaded object with an inappropriate title, they should contact the user that created or moved the object and inform them that, if they do not change or revert the title within 7 days of the change, the content will be be deleted.
