Purple Theory is a fanon theory of canon Prodigy first developed by FourSevensRueful.
Overview[]
Within the Prodigy Universe, there are many dangers that make themselves apparent: the threats of mind control caused by the anomalous Order of Influence, the greatest danger to every one of the inhabitants of the islands, imposes itself throughout the world. From the awesome Shadow Blast that caused the dispersal of the Warden Keystones to the minute little Billyfoot Squirrel that greets players with an eerie glare every so often, these hazardous and insidious little things might make a Prodigy lore enthusiast shiver. It is clear from the moment a person sees them that they get insight into the conflict between the "power-hungry" Order and the rest who are unwilling to let them have what they want. To help wizards get an overall idea of what can possibly be linked to the Order, this theory discusses how they can predict objects, symbols, and entities to be belongings, references, or members of this group of major antagonists.

Based on the previous subsection, it can be predicted that any of the following in the TL;DR section can be related to the Order or the Shadow element, which is the most well-known component of the Order itself.
TL;DR[]
Anything or anyone within the Prodigy universe that is or does any of the following may be related to the Shadow element and/or the Order of Influence:

- Is dark purple (does not matter whether it is indigo or violet) in color, and/or emanates a dark purple glow or "aura"
- Is sensed by a Fairy NPC to be malicious, extremely unusual, or offputting to them
- Is uncomfortable to rescued pets or characters that have not been corrupted by Shadow magic
- Asks for any information that may help the Order of Influence, such as the whereabouts of the Astral Warden
