The reason(s) for this page being marked as a stub is "theories continue to be updated in unfinished games"

Purple Theory is a fanon theory of canon Prodigy first developed by FourSevensRueful.

Overview[]

Within the Prodigy Universe, there are many dangers that make themselves apparent: the threats of mind control caused by the anomalous Order of Influence, the greatest danger to every one of the inhabitants of the islands, imposes itself throughout the world. From the awesome Shadow Blast that caused the dispersal of the Warden Keystones to the minute little Billyfoot Squirrel that greets players with an eerie glare every so often, these hazardous and insidious little things might make a Prodigy lore enthusiast shiver. It is clear from the moment a person sees them that they get insight into the conflict between the "power-hungry" Order and the rest who are unwilling to let them have what they want. To help wizards get an overall idea of what can possibly be linked to the Order, this theory discusses how they can predict objects, symbols, and entities to be belongings, references, or members of this group of major antagonists.

What is Related to the Order[]

These are an unfinished compilation of what is currently related to the Order of Influence--divided into proper categories.

Order of Influence Paraphernalia
Type Name Confirmed to be of the Shadow Element Further Description (if Necessary)
Symbol Shadow Element Icon Yes The known symbol and icon of the Shadow element, which appears to be an eye with an iris and pupil and six triangles with two vertices floating close to the edge of the sclera, which may represent the six other canon elements or are decoration to appear similar to eyelashes.
Spell Shadow Shock, Royal Roar, Shadow Blast, Spike Strike, Crystal Crash, and Yeti Smash Yes Spells used by various Shadow-element individuals.
Ink Blot No A spell used by the Order of Influence affiliate, Old One.
Objects/Enemies Billyfoot Squirrel No An observant object (or entity) that remains in place in an area where a wizard is nearby. Sometimes, it moves seemingly on its own, darting away into a crag or out of sight. It may be a scout or security monitor for the Order.
Piles of Magic Eggs, Applepots, Fallen Stars, Unlit Jack-o-Lanterns, an Evil Snowmen No Objects inhabited or trapped with a monsters (or a pet, in the case of Applepot), that attack the wizard if they attempt to interact with the object (or with the Applepot). It will battle and, if defeated, forfeit 10 Event Currency to the wizard. The monsters are said to be scouts for the Order that invaded Lamplight Town during an Event to gain information that the Order can benefit from.
Titan Crystals and Power Crystals Yes and No, Respectively Two types of dark purple crystals that are found by going on quests and defeating bosses. They have clear cuts and look polished, which is unnatural for most gemstones. They contain great stores of energy which are either released by clearing out Shadow magic by submerging them in sand (Titan Crystals, by Floatlings), or are used to light up a furnace (Power Crystals, in Shiverchill Mountains).
Wild Monsters No Organic monsters that still have their own element (one of the five traditional elements).
Crystal Monsters, Makalu, Crystal Golem Yes Inorganic crystalline monsters of the Shadow element that will always attack wizards without hesitation. They have varying battle tactics.
Glacias and Shadow Glacias Yes Giant wolverine-, canine-, and feline-shaped monsters that prevent the wizard from proceeding on their respective journeys through Crystal Caverns and the Ice Tower of the Academy.
Shadow Gerald Yes A shadow-element version of Gerald that prevents the wizard from proceeding on its journey through the Earth Tower of the Academy.
Old One No A water-element eldritch being targeted by the Order to be used against the wizard so as to prevent them from helping Eve and, additionally, preventing them from obtaining the Shipwreck Keystone.
Aspen Frost (temporarily) When in Grumpy Yeti form A friendly yeti that was blinded by snow while going boarding, accidentally getting his hands trapped in shadow crystals.
Titans Yes A giant manticore-like construct that reappears at different Titan Grounds for different locations. It attacks wizards without hesitation, and is protected by a strong barrier that prevents it from being defeated for over several thousand times its barrier is temporarily disabled. If it falls, the Puppet Master always rebuilds it in an elemental location.
"Harmony Golem" (Scary Form) No One of the forms of the golem in Harmony Island that Cassie and Cassie's Wott met in Harmony Island Origins. It had a single yellow eye encased in the small indentation in one of its rocks (at the moment its head) that was filled by a dark purple space. The golem told Cassie that the Order was around for quite a while, and was once composed of wizards as well. The golem confirmed that the Order continually upset the balance of the universe, persisting despite the universal resets caused by the Ancient.
Confirmed Members Puppet Master Yes The strongest-known member of the Order, may be the leader. He may or may not be organic.
Pippet Yes A sentient puppet that cares for the Puppet Master and attempts to carry out his plans. He may or may not be organic.

What is Going to be Related to the Order[]

Based on the previous subsection, it can be predicted that any of the following in the TL;DR section can be related to the Order or the Shadow element, which is the most well-known component of the Order itself.

TL;DR[]

Anything or anyone within the Prodigy universe that is or does any of the following may be related to the Shadow element and/or the Order of Influence:

  • Sneakily hides in the background of a cutscene or map and has any form of eyes
  • Is dark purple (does not matter whether it is indigo or violet) in color, and/or emanates a dark purple glow or "aura"
  • Is sensed by a Fairy NPC to be malicious, extremely unusual, or offputting to them
  • Is uncomfortable to rescued pets or characters that have not been corrupted by Shadow magic
  • Asks for any information that may help the Order of Influence, such as the whereabouts of the Astral Warden
