This is a brief guide on saving food. To see more about the variety of foods and their descriptions, articles from PMGW are linked.

Food[]

Food heals your HP health, and there are many ways to get food. There are also many kinds of foods.

Most foods are individual, one-individual effective. There are salads, pizzas, cakes, chicken, and much more, and each heals you an amount depending on how rare the item is. Common foods, like salads, only heal 25% of your HP, while rarer foods like Poutine heal 75% of your HP, the highest possible amount.

The only items that are capable of effecting your whole team are only usable on Harmony Island and the arena. These foods include Tiered Cake, Popcorn, and others. They are also only acquirable in those two places.

Saving Up & Ways to Get Food[]

There are many ways to get food, but only a few are guaranteed. Here are a few ways:

Save up lots of Shivers, and then go to the Crystal Caverns. When you get to Aspen Frost (you must battle Grumpy Yeti first), stay there, and buy some food. The amount you purchase is your own choice; it depends on what you are planning to do with the food. For example, if you are going to go battle Mira Shade in the Dark Tower (check out Mira Shade - A Study Guide for more info), you'd probably want to buy plenty of food to stock up.

If you don't want to spend Shivers on food, you can just adventure through Crystal Caverns to get food. There's definitely plenty of food in the snow piles, crates, and chests!

You can also go to Harmony Island (not Harmony Island Arena, though). Similar to Crystal Caverns, you could get lots of food from the chests and bushes. Member chests have even more food. However, try not to spend too much time in the arena if you are in a huge effort to get food. Reason: even though it will reward you with one food after each battle, the actual amount of food you use in that battle will probably exceed that amount you get rewarded with, unless you are a member.

Spinning the wheels could also get you food. Apples on the Lamplight Town wheels, and salad on the Earth Tower wheel.

If you haven't linked with a parent yet, that's also a great way to get apples. The parent linking reward box will give you a bundle of apples, and the parent reward box that your receive when you complete a goal could also give you food.

In summarization, depending on where you are, you could also get food from battle chests. However, this is not at all guaranteed, so keep your hopes up!

To save up food, there are two potential ways. You could just avoid using food in any other place other than the place you would like to use food in. Carefully plan your battle strategy so that you are not in an urgent need of food. If the reason you are saving food is not because you want to win in the arena, you can also reduce the amount of time spent in the arena. The energy spent there might seriously effect how much food and items you have in stock.
