The Shattered Elements Update is released a day before the Rueful's Epics Update to mark the coming of two new elemental epics with special abilities associated with the two new elements, Wind and Land. It is only unlocked after the player completes quests in Treacherous Taiga.
Overview[]
In the Player Mail, Ulla tells the player that she found a lot of hidden lore tablets throughout Prodigy Island. These tablets, when arranged correctly, in Harmony Island, tell the player the history of these two new elements and how they fit in with Prodigy Math's canon. It is not necessary to complete these quests to obtain Rueful's Epics in the upcoming update, but it is helpful to players who want to complete a side quest that pertains to the main story.
An important note about the new elemental synergy is that the Earth element becomes weak to the Ice element. This is because The Ancient is shifting around the strengths of the elements to obtain maximum balance.
Trivia[]
- The Wind and Land elements were made in respect to the Air and Earth elements in the Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra series.
- The Wind and Land elements also take inspiration from Genshin Impact's Anemo and Geo elements, respectively.
Improving Gameplay[]
This update allows players to complete a side quest associated with two minor elements in the game. It will entertain wizards for at least a few days while trying to rack up all of the necessary quest items.
Math Factor[]
Completing quests requires battling monsters, which in turn require answering math questions.
