Here are the rules.

  • Each person will have 3 lives. They will randomly be paired with one another.
  • When they reach their last life, all alliances are broken (except for with their "soul mate") and they become hostile.
  • People can give lives to other people.
  • This takes place within Prodigy Math. I added some of my old ideas for the heck of it, like smelting, crafting, attributes, and affinities.

The contestants:

  • Cameron
  • Gina
  • Benjamyn
  • Fuchsia
  • Bannard
  • Finneas
  • Jared
  • Korathius
  • Ziang
  • Nova
  • Saffron
  • Crios
  • Rohan Scrapstrike (Jicholas)
  • Gemini Cumulor (Jamantha)
  • Evergreen Embermane
  • Ashley Brotherhood
  • Tanner Silverwood

Session One[]

The tournament was finally here.

Saffron, who was new to the Arena Challengers, but did have some expertise within combat and exploration, was busy fighting a Scally. She knew that the odds would be against everyone, and she had to get geared up for when someone managed to lose their last life. Also, she had yet to find out who her soul was bound with.

Nova and Korathius had a secret alliance. Korathius had allowed Nova to use a Starbit Blast on him "in the name of science". They weren't soulmates. So they formed an alliance. "Let's do a favor. I provide you with help when you need it, and you... don't. help to end my life. Deal?" Nova asked. "Deal."

Everyone was wary of Crios. Crios was the most powerful Arena Challenger, and could easily set a wizard to one quarter of their health in two hits. He was also very prone to injuries or sudden death. And what was he doing? Picking flowers, petting Charfoals, and building a small fort.

"What's that fort supposed to be?" Saffron had questioned the fort that looked like a small hollow cube made out of mossy stone. And what did she get? "It's a wooden fence. Plan on using it when someone gets red and tries to obliterate me. I also accept refugees."

"That is most definitely not a wooden fence."

"You'll see."

Gemini Jamantha and Rohan Jicholas were also grinding for resources. Jicholas found a cool set of armor, right next to a Charfoal. "Hey, look at this cute guy!" Jamantha pointed to the Charfoal next to where the armor once was. That was when they received a message through their Wizard Watch.

Ziang was killed by Jared. Finneas spontaneously combusted due to soulmate's death.

Jared received a set of cool Dragon Scale armor. It fit him snugly, and didn't sacrifice flexibility. But killing Ziang and, inadvertently, Finneas, was a big mistake.

Ziang knew combat. He was great at ambushing his adversaries, and now everyone knew, Jared would be on Ziang's personal hitlist.

Evergreen, Ashley, and Tanner came across Jared, while Jamantha was finding some pets to tame. And that was when Jared, confident in his combat skills, rushed towards Ashley and drew his Crystal Staff, salvaged from the remains of Ziang.

A Spearicle Crush was charged.

Jicholas lunged towards Jared, the Spearicle Crush was redirected towards Jicholas, and hit Jared in the stomach, taking half of his life.

Jared took one look at Jicholas's fiery red eyes, and was bashed in the face with a first-aid kit, knocking him out cold.

Jicholas then use the first-aid kit to bandage himself up. "Well, that was close." He looked at the three friends, Evergreen, Ashley, and Tanner.

"How would you like to form an alliance?"

Ashley was doubtful, but Tanner wasn't buying her behaviour. "Listen, that guy saved your life. He killed public enemy number one. You gonna repay him?"

Ashley considered this. "Deal."

That was how the Alliance was born.

Jamantha built a wooden fortress out of some mangrove trees, and discussed their name.

"I just realized," Jamantha started, "Our initials, spell G.R.E.A.T, right? Probably coincidence, anyways, all in favor of being called Team G.R.E.A.T, raise your hands."

Jamantha didn't have the best speaking skills. But it was still a cool name, so people went along with it.

5 beds, workbenches, furnaces, and potion stands were set up. The Fortress of G.R.E.A.T.ness was starting to form shape.

This worried Crios. People were starting to form alliances. Deaths were happening here and there. It was very nerve-wracking.

Suddenly, the quiet pitter-patter of footsteps slowly became louder in the distance, and Crios was taken aback by two certain wizards' appearance.

Nova and Korathius were standing there. "Can we be a part of your clique?"

Session Two[]

It was the glorious Wooden Fence.

Crios was working on a new section, with tactical holes to shoot arrows or magical spells through. An emergency bunker was also planned for construction.

Meanwhile, Team G.R.E.A.T was out fishing by the lake, where some monsters were frolicking in the deep waters. "I wondered, if I jumped into the water, and you hooked your pole to my collar, would you be able to send me flying?" Ashley asked. Jicholas shrugged. "Well, I wouldn't think that the force of the pull would be able to compensate for-" he started, when he was cut off by Tanner. "Only one way to find out!" Tanner shoved Ashley into the lake.

The terrified howls of Ashley echoed as she fell into the water, just meters away from the frolicking monsters. "On the count of three, everyone latch your fishing hooks onto Ashley!" Tanner laughed. Jicholas was clearly unsatisfied.

Ashley, with a jolt, was sent flying into the blue sky, way above the trees surrounding the Fortress. She closed her eyes, and only opened it just a millimeter to peek at her surroundings.

She was towering right next to the Wooden Fence, and falling at a dramatic pace. With a splash, she landed in the middle of the water and quickly swam back to the land. "That was CRAZY! I LOVE IT!" Ashley shrieked. She did a fist pump. "I wonder if we could use these as a defense tactic."

Crios glanced outside the window. A giant boat and a large rectangle was seen in the distance. A watchtower was seen near the coast. "Huh. Looks like lots of people have gotten to building."

With a quick leap, he leaped from his level to the treetops and ran towards Team G.R.E.A.T. "I finished our tactical base! Let's stir up some drama, alright?"

Everyone: I thought you were dead.
Soulbound: My death was... greatly exaggerated.

Ziang and Finneas were now on their second life, and it had only been two days since the tournament begun. However, Ziang did not want to be soulmates with his accident-prone soulmate. However, he was friends with Bannard, who was soulmates with Fuchsia.

Most people on good terms with Ziang regarded him as a god among men by his comrades. Over 1,000 kills to his name, and yet he was still defeated by the prey he was stalking. Then after being killed once, Jared still had the audacity to make fun of him.

God, he hated Jared.

Bannard was chilling in his box with Fuchsia when Ziang calmly knocked on the door when Finneas burst through the door. "Dude, unwelcome entrance? Did you not even know to knock on the door?!"

Everyone was staring at Ziang until the Fuchsia, with her signature choppy, faded magenta hair took a revolver from a pocket in her coat and aimed it at him. "Do I have permission to shoot, Bannard?" she asked, not taking her eyes off him.

Bannard grunted and shrugged. "Do what you want. All I need to know is who he is."

"Whatever," Fuchsia muttered as she wandered away. Ziang could've sworn he heard her say "I want to go commit ghost McDonalds" under her breath.

Finneas looked up and stared at Bannard, who stared back at him, his expression unfeeling, weirdly calculating, and observant.

Bannard sighed. "Hi."

"Uh...hello?" Finneas asked.

"You seem like a bit of a moron. No offense, but still..." Bannard commented.

"Thank you," Finneas replied dryly.

Fuchsia got up and began pacing in circles/talking to herself. She was restless, looking for her next massacre perhaps? Finneas didn't know, and he didn't want to find out.

Ziang cut to the chase. "So, Bannard..." He grabbed Finneas's collar. "My soulmate is pretty accident-prone and I wouldn't want to be stuck with him. So, let's make a deal. I help you in combat and you don't chomp my face off when you get to your last life. Also, I won't chomp your face off when I get red."

"Yes!" Bannard exclaimed.

Fuchsia kicked Bannard in the skin and started to speedwalk away from him.

Ziang looked at Bannard. "Thank you."

"No problem."

"Wanna be friends?"

Ziang touched the tip of his wand to his chin, thinking. Then he shrugged.

"Why the hell not?"

Session Three[]

Everyone: Seriously, you have to be dead now.
Soulbound: I think not.

Rumors of an ancient mythical anvil that lay within the core of the arena, guarded by one of the most powerful beasts on the planet, were being passed around. And some people were forming an alliance to help recover it.

But first, Ziang had to make some safety measures.

"Finneas, you are hereby banned from the Arena's Core. Because, well-" Ziang started, then he mimicked Finneas's voice: "Oh no! A giant beast is on the prowl trying to kill me! Good golly gosh! Ow! And then you're dead, bringing me down with you. So yeah."

Below the now-slightly purple sky, the Recovery Team, consisting of Ziang, Finneas, Crios, Nova, and Korathius started hacking into the ground. "Get digging, the pathway is probably hidden underground. This carried on for a few hours when Nova looked up into the sky. By now, they had extracted miles worth of the arena's surface. But something was amiss.

"You see the lavender sky?" Nova pointed to the now-lavender hue of the atmosphere above them. "It wasn't like that before. And there's a pillar of light in the woods." By now lots of other wizards had gone to check the Core now, and seeing the Recovery Team leave made them think they had given up. "Well, looks like I get the anvil for myself."

Deep within the backwoods, Korathius approached a marble table surrounded by some small cliffs. On the table were ten glowing cubes and a scroll. Nova gently brushed the scroll, and narrated it to everyone.

These are the Songs, arcane artifacts of great power, forged by the scythe of the Silver Shepherd. Shall they fall into the wrong hands, and all hell will break loose.

"Neat. Now, what happens if I touch this-"

A swirl of astral light engulfed the Songs, and a portal opened, levitating all within the area to a higher plane. Now, Ziang was outside of bounds, so he desperately ran over to the beam, which immediately closed. "No, no, no, no..." He racked his head, until he had an idea.

That was when Jared suddenly appeared. "Now, what was going on here- YOU. Well, we meet again. I'M GONNA DELETE YOU!" He then bellowed out the weirdest battle cry ever. "HOOOOOO-"

Ziang didn't know what to do. He grabbed a Song, and the beam of light reopened. Jared swung at Ziang, and they were both levitated into the beam. Then Finneas, sword in hand, glanced at Jared. "Come back here! You ain't on the Recovery Team! You can't get the anvil!" "Well I will!" Jared retorted. Finneas decided to grab a Song and throw it at Jared, tripping into the beam in the process, bringing the Song with them.

Holy sh*t.

As soon as the three landed in the realm of the Relentless Archipelago, Jared started swinging at Ziang. Being attacked, by someone who had killed him once, using his own weapon. That was nerve-wracking. And as Ziang crawled away backwards, he channeled a Supernova towards Jared, and hurried towards the Gang. He then showed off something Jared didn't have.

A Spectral and Arbite was summoned and landed alongside Ziang, who dragged Finneas and ran away. "What the heck were you thinking?! I told you not to come here with us! You'll die!" He screamed. Jared was sprinting over, fast, having pushed aside the pets, and blasted by an Unlimited Power and a Forest's Hurricane.

Meanwhile, Nova, tracing the map on the scroll, came across a Vine-Devil. "Oh hey little guy! Where are you from-ARGH! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF! GOOD GOLLY GOSH NO! ARGH!"

"Here says, 'Vine-Devils are a fickle demon thing, who was brought to life beneath the light of the moonbeams.' Now, we should probably stay our distance from these things, as- oh. Oh my." Korathius read from the scroll that Nova had tossed into the air.

The Relentless Archipelago was going to live up to its name.

Session Four[]

"Where even are the members of the Recovery Team?!" Fuchsia muttered as she paced back and forth. Really, after entering the Archipelago, the Team, aside from Ziang, Jared, and Finneas, had reached Neo Isle and Neo Villa. So Fuchsia had the bright idea to make one herself. Coming across scraps of Mithril and Adamantite, the rookie weaponsmith had produced a... a bootleg Mythical Forge, if you can. Heh.

The Recovery Team had landed in the Neo Isle, home to Silverforge Square, and had taken refuge there, at least for a while. At that moment, everyone received the notification.

Fuchsia has made the advancement: Advanced Wizardry!

No one really knew what was going on with the less skilled wizards, like Cameron, Gina, and Benjamyn. But they knew: this was their chance to get an upgrade.

"Uh, Fuchsia, I have a fe-e-e-eling... that we're gonna get se-e-e-iged..." Bannard anxiously peered from their balcony. Cameron, Gina, and Benjamyn, leading their pets. Benjamyn decided to do the talking.

"Hey, Fuchsia! What's going on, and how has you day been? We know you have the enchanter. Give it now or perish." Quickly chucking the anvil item to Bannard, she quickly thought of an excuse when Gina saw Bannard. "Don't focus on her! Bannard has it!" Fuchsia kicked Benjamyn in the face and ran like the wind. But they were cornered and they knew it.

Unless...

Bannard was shaking. "Watch out! We're gonna run out of road!" Fuchsia didn't care. She had a plan. "Quick! Grab my hand!" "You're gonna kill us both!"

And Fuchsia summoned her Plasma Sharky. "Goodbye you suckers! L BOZOS! HAHAHA!"

Benjamyn didn't stop there. Leading the rebels to Fuchsia's location, the rebels recruited Saffron and was lead to a small hunt by the docks.

"You might know that an island map can teleport you, but we have a special type, only for emergencies, that can only be used once. I called it a transpore. And I have one stowed in the basement of History District." Fuchsia confessed. "And where does it lead?"

"My parents' house."

"You guys... Fuchsia?" Bannard laughed anxiously. "They're everywhere."

Fuchsia flinched and she grabbed Bannard's hand, racing to the History District basement. When they got there, she pushed Bannard out of the way as Saffron and Gina banged on the door, tears welling up. "Get inside! It's the laundry room! GO NOW! And tell my parents... of everything that's happened here, and that I love them!"

"Fuchsia, no! Either we go together or not at all!"

"I'm glad you said that! This transpore is good for a single jump. When I let go of this door, they come in. You you'd better be ready to make the jump!"

Benjamyn blasted the door apart. "Jeepers! Incoming!"

"GO GO GO!"

Holding each others' hands, Fuchsia and Bannard leapt into the transpore, and left the rebels in the dust.

"I still can't believe we got our mounts downgraded," Bannard muttered as he stared at the basic Cloud Mount. "Be grateful. When I was a kid, we would make mounts out of soap cans, used wires, and plastic bottles! This is a limousine compared to that!"

"Don't be so harsh! When we were a kid, we would make these out of wood and stone! Even you had it easy, daughter!" Fuchsia's dad laughed. "Be safe on your journey, and try not to die in this virtual tournament of yours!" Mom sighed. "Just bring it back in one piece!"

"You're not getting those back," Fuchsia's dad chuckled. "Oh, I know."

The End[]

"You just broke my... computer." Bannard grumbled. "Hey, what's this?"

Downloading link to BFBF Multiverse.

"I guess it could be some sort of virus. Let me try to close the window-"

A gigantic portal opened in the sky, and a humongous window appeared.

Transferring universe.

Combining universes.

"..."

"We are in so much sh*t now."
