Spacewalker is an NPC not used in roleplay. They are a current resident of the Treacherous Taiga and settled in the location with monsters that initially resisted the Order of Influence without the help of wizards. They have only recently arrived and have not made many friends yet.
Appearance[]
Spacewalker is one of very few Lumibolts that wear their armor. Underneath their bulky helmet and suit is their actual fur, which matches that of traditional Luminexes.
Personality[]
Spacewalker is a reserved and cautious individual. They do not interact with those that they do not know or those they are afraid will scold them for something. They have learned to communicate with wizards when training for the Monster-Wizard Joint Space Program (MWJSP), a warden-funded research program that was around since the Academy opened; since they could translate between languages, they saw that as an advantage if they graduated, became an actual Prodigian Cosmonaut, and could publish books on their adventures to more than one audience.
Their dreams were crushed with the most recent uprising of the Order of Influence, where the program halted and most MWJSP personnel had to evacuate Skywatch in fear of being attacked with mind control spells that could potentially end their lives. Luckily for Spacewalker, they got to keep their armor while they ran. This trauma caused them to be less trusting of others especially since they could be trying to harm Spacewalker. Upon arriving at the Treacherous Taiga, they determined that they could be more trusting of the other refugees
Weapons/Gear[]
Without weapons, armor, or any other bonuses, Spacewalker has the same battle statistics as most Luminexes. They rarely ever remove their armor; Spacewalker has a 50% damage reduction when they wear their suit, plus an additional 25% damage reduction when wearing their helmet. They can use their front paws to grip and hold wands for power bonuses, but cannot use their spells.

None of these spells are planned to be used in-game because Spacewalker will not be used in battle.
Abilities[]
- Brute Strength: They can throw large, heavy objects up to 20 meters away and small, heavy objects up to 50 meters away.
- Ominous Howl: To communicate with other Luminexes and Lumibolts in their native tongue, they can howl to them. Calls that indicate strong negative emotion are much louder and "can be heard miles away."
- Cold-Water Swimming: Spacewalker is able to swim in cold water for extended periods of time without fainting, but only when they wear their suit. It has insulation that protects against fainting and, when paired with their helmet and scuba gear, they can stay underwater for longer.
Trivia[]
- Spacewalker came out as nonbinary before entering the Monster-Wizard Joint Space Program, when they began to use they/them/theirs pronouns. They were solitary at the time and were not often in situations where they could be questioned.
- Rueful's first idea upon viewing the textures for the Lumibolt subspecies was that they would have to be involved in science experiments in order to receive their armor. They decided to make a backstory for the entire subspecies starting with the experiences of one individual (Spacewalker), but the plot is currently under construction.
