Hi, Delta here. You CANNOT use Species/AlyssSolo Version without our permission in any way whatsoever.
This is because many of the species used in this version of species list are Closed/Semi-Closed species owned by myself.

Species are groups classified by their genus families in the Prodigy, specifically in Delta's creations.

Spirits[]

Spirits depend on their species before death, but some are capable of taking on a physical form and are identified as part of a spiritual species.

Species Sub-Species? Status Population Physical Through Host? Members
Elemental No Vulnerable No Glassfire
Elemental Deities No Critically Endangered 7 Yes EoF (Fire); EoW (Water); EoE (Earth); EoSt (Storm); EoS (Shadow); EoA (Astral); EoI (Ice); EoV (Void); EoC (Celestial); EoM (Moon); EoSu (Sun)
Nymphs Yes (Naiads/Nereids/Tritons [Water Nymph]; Dryads/Druids/Satyrs [Earth/Plant/Land Nymph]; Aurae/Aurai [Air/Wind Nymph]; Hesperides [Evening/Dusk/Time Nymphs]) Vulnerable Unknown; Presumably Little No

Elementals[]

Elemental Will-o'-the-wisps. They're playful creatures and are normally the color of their element, however, they can appear as other colors under certain conditions. They can manipulate thoughts and feelings of another creature, so beware.

Elemental Spirits[]

They have no known solid form and can only make themselves known by taking on a host. The shadow based elemental-spirit often does this via corruption, it is unknown why the other elemental spirits don't take on a host unless forced.

Faen[]

Species Status Population Sub-Species? Documented Members
Faerie Unknown Unknown Yes (Fire; Earth/Land; Water/Sea; Storm/Air; Ice; Astral; Shadow/Dark; Moth/Moon; Desert/Sun) Aurgelmir
Fairies Vulnerable Unknown; Presumably Little Yes (Fire; Ice; Earth; Storm; Sun/Solar; Moon/Lunar; Astral; Crystal) Gale (Starheart); Noot; Aly Flameheart; Florian; Flora; Iris Icetalon; Edur Icetalon; Cyro Icetalon; etc

Faerie[]

Faerie, which are also known as unseelie, and have 9 documented subspecies. As none have been spotted on the island, they are presumed to be alien to the island, and will not be listed in detail.

Fairies[]

Fairies, also known as seelie, have 8 known sub-species.

Astral Fairies[]

Astral Fairies are fair-skinned, have fluffy tails, and their wing evolved to be smaller than most fairies, causing them to tire faster, but fit into smaller spaces - such as doorways. Their tail fur always matches the color of their hair, which ranges from blond to brown. Their wings can be white, blue, or light yellow. Their eyes are most commonly blue but can be brown or yellow.

Sun/Solar Fairies[]

Their eyes are shades of gold or yellow (the rarest being rose-gold), same as their wings. Their tails are similar to those of an Ivory Fairy but much longer and slightly wider. Their wings partially reflect light, causing the illusion of a glow, and their wing color fades when they spend too much time away from the sun, health failing along with it. Their hair is most commonly shades of blond and can be fair or dark-skinned, but often gain a tan when fair-skinned. Their ears are pointed due to Elven descent.

Moon/Lunar Fairies[]

Their eyes range from grayish-white, gray, or blue. Their wings are normally pure white but can be light blue or light gray - or a mixture of all three colors. They have long cat-like tails, tipped with feathers. Their tail feathers can harden under stress or fear, gaining a metallic appearance and becoming hard and sharp as knives. Their feathers match their wing color, while their tail fur matches their hair color. Tail feathers or tail fur being a different color from the wings or hair is rare. Their hair can range from white, gray, light blue, or light blond. Their ears, like those of a Sun Fairy, are pointed due to being of Elven descent. Their wings reflect light more than that of a Sun Fairy, and their skin is fair.

Ice Fairies[]

They are fair in skin tone and can have white or blue-ish hair, normally mistaken for ice/snow when they're hiding in the snow of Shiverchill. Their wings are cloudy and not as transparent, and are white or blue, matching the snow. They have long tails, with thick fur to keep them warm. The fur color usually matches the wings. Their eyes are normally shades of blue or gray.

Earth Fairies[]

They are green in skin tone, and wings vary in color. Their hair is normally brown or green. Sometimes, their wings extend, casting the illusion of having two tails, but Earth Fairies, unlike their fellow fairies, DO NOT have tails but do have pointed ears.

Storm Fairies[]

Storm Fairies normally have a gray or fair skin tone. Their wings are gray or yellow in coloration and have dragonfly-shaped wings with pointed tips, made for cutting through the air. Their wing shape greatly differs because they adapted to the high winds of Skywatch, and they're also more resistant to electricity - meaning they don't get shocked as easily. They can have one or two tails, which are long and feather-like. Their "plumage" is normally white or gray in color and can fan out, helping them steer. Their eyes are normally gray or amber. Their hair can be blond, gray, or white.

Water Fairies[]

Water Fairies are closest in appearance to their counterpart, Water Faeries. The main difference is that Water Fairies are land creatures, and CANNOT breathe underwater. They can, however, hold their breath for long durations of time. Their top set of wings are thin, while the bottom set is wide. The ridges in their wings contain spines, which slide out when they feel threatened. These spines are venomous and match the wing color. Wings vary in color but can be blue, green, purple, even the white of seafoam. Their wings lighten and darken to match the color of the water they are present in, camouflaging them. Their tails also vary but are often mistaken for seaweed because of their shape. Tails can be long, short, thin, or wide. They have the same color scheme as the wings and can be a different color from their wings. Their hair can be white, gray, murky blond, or light blue. Their skin tone varies.

Fire Fairies[]

Fire Fairies normally have a medium or dark skin tone. Their wings are fire resistant and are often mistaken for flames. They can have red, black, dark blond, or brown hair. In cases where they do have tails, the tails are dragon-like. Their wings are dragon-like in texture, and they have pointed, scaled ears. Their eyes can be a burning red, orange, brown, yellow, or black. Some of them evolved to have retractable claws, and are more feral in nature.

Mistaken For Subspecies[]

Ivory Fairies (Albinos)[]

Ivory Fairies are gray in skin tone. They have amber, yellow, or pink eyes. Their wings are tattered in shape and are colored gold, white, blue, or a mixture of the three. Their tails are long and ribbon-like, forking at the end. Their tail fur is white, gold, white with a gold pattern, or gold with a white pattern. Their hair can range from white, light gray, or bluish-gray. They have pointed ears, and are practically the Albino variants of fairies in the Prodigy universe.

They're also slimmer in body shape than a wizard.

Dark Fairies (False Unseelie; Tainted)[]

General[]

Dark Fairies are variants. This means, for example, an Earth Fairy can be a Dark Fairy, and would retain the appearance of an Earth Fairy, but gain the abilities of a Dark Fairy. The only way for their appearance to change is if they entered Corrupted Form, which doesn't occur naturally, and entered under extreme force or pressure.

Corrupted[]

In Corrupted Form, their whole appearance changes to match the Shadow element. Their eyes become a shade of purple, black, or purple-blue. Their hair gains metallic black streaks and a thick purple streak near the front of the face. They seem to be surrounded by a partially visible black-purple aura, and depending on the strength of the transformation, their clothing changes drastically. It won't only match something only the Order will wear, depending on the transformation, they can get specific buffs that can give them a great advantage. Their wings become purple and black and seem to fade into shadows at the tips. If they have a tail(s), its fur/plumage color will become black with purple markings. They prefer to melt into the shadows in this form, meaning they're harder to spot.

Ice Fairy [FERAL][]

Feral Ice Fairies are technically the same as Ice Fairies, the only difference is that they have a trait not seen in the rest of the sub-species for unknown reasons.

Normal[]

They bear resemblance to the average Ice Fairy, but have retractable claws.

Shapeshifted[]

They take on the appearance of large felines adapted to the cold. Ex: Saber-Tooth Tiger, Snow Leopard, etc

The feline they resemble varies depending on the fairy, and their fur color matches the fur color of their tail in fairy form.

Earth Fairy [SILK][]

Silk weaving Earth Fairies are the same as Earth Fairies, but for an unknown reason, they show a trait that was supposedly lost generations back in history.

They bear resemblance to the average Earth Fairy, but have leaf/petal-like scales on their wrists. These scales hide spinnerets. Silk color is unique, and no two fairies have the same shade.

Unlike their normal variant, they go through metamorphosis at 8.

Humans/Wizards[]

Species Status On The Island Population Documented Members
Homo sapiens Extinct 0 None
Homo prodigious Least Concern 7.9 Billion (As of Latest Census)
Homo electro Critically Endangered 3 Zyren Chaser; Storm Dreamchaser; Raiden Dreamchaser; Grace (Hybrid); Caleb (Hybrid)
Homo cyro Extinct 0 None
Homo infinitus Critically Endangered 3 Hilda Wishstone, Azure (Hybrid), Jade Landcrafter (Hybrid)

Homo sapiens[]

The species of humans/wizards native to Earth (Located in Dimensions A & C). They have raw magical ability that can be tapped, but no other notable traits.

Homo prodigious[]

The species of humans/wizards native to the islands of Prodigy (Located at Dimension B). They are noted for being naturally able of casting spells, and have impressive control over magic, as well as some resistance to the forces of their element.

Homo electro[]

A species of humans/wizards from a different dimension. They are one of 50 mentioned human/wizard species from Dimension C, and are specifically from Star System A-12, Dual Planetary System B-21, Alpha. They are incredibly resistant to electricity due to the static energy in Alpha's atmosphere, and can store and conduct that electricity subconsciously in their own body (due to having additional organs often seen in electric eels), making Storm Magic easy for them if they attempt to learn it. They can use Astral Magic to some extent, but only with training and exposure to Astral Elemental Energy leading to mild mutation. Their blood is also notably poisonous.

Homo cyro[]

A species of humans/wizards from a different dimension. They are one of 50 mentioned human/wizard species from Dimension C, and are specifically Star System A-12, Dual Planetary System B-21, Beta. Due to Beta's harsh cold climate, they are immune to sub-zero temperatures and do not get hyperthermia. However, the air around them is always seems to be cold. Ice Magic is easiest for them to learn, but like Homo electro, they can learn Astral Magic with proper exposure. They have special types of proteins that act as antifreeze, meaning it's unlikely for them to suffer from internal freezing.

Homo infinitus[]

A species of human/wizards thought to be a myth, native to Dimension B. They are said to be immortal - however this is false. They can be killed, grow ill, and become injured just like the other species of humans/wizards. The only way for them to live anything short of "forever" is if they tend to themselves well, but can still die from factors such as illnesses. Therefore they are mortal, simply unageing.

False Wizard[]

False wizards are species that are so similar to wizards in appearance to the point they are often mistaken for them. They are most often shapeshifters.

Species Status Population Sub-Species? Documented Members
Fire Salamander Critically Endangered 21 No The Firewalkers
Catamounts Extinct In Wild Unknown (1k is estimated based on past tracking) No Unknown (Most are mistakenly documented as wizards)
Elves Endangered Unknown; Supposedly little Yes (Earth/Forest Elves; Mountain Elves; Dusk Elves; Dawn Elves; Moon Elves; Sun Elves; Etc)

Fire Salamanders[]

Not to be mistaken for the buddy, Flame Salamanders, they are a False Wizard species native to Bonfire.

Wizard Form[]

They normally have a medium or dark skin tone, but can be fair. They can have red, black, dark blond, or brown hair. Their eyes, like Fire Fairies, can be a burning red, orange, brown, yellow, or black.

Salamander Form[]

They have a sail fin on their back, running down to their tail, as well as wing-like fins on their front legs. Unlike normal salamanders, when swimming, they stretch out their front legs, using their "wing" fins to help them cut through the water (or lava) in the direction they want to go. They have a tuft of fire-proof fur on their heads, the same color as their hair in Wizard form, and their scales always have a fiery leopard pattern. They have gills, but can only breath underwater, having to hold their breath when in lava. They have small, scaly, cat-like ears.

Catamounts[]

Wizard Form[]

They look exactly like humans except for one minor detail: They oddly remind one of a cat. Maybe it's the four toes? Maybe it's their posture? Maybe it's their uncanny ability to land on their feet? Or their mysterious, cat-like gaze?

Mountain Lion Form[]

They can shapeshift into mountain lions, often being mistaken for actual wild cats.

Elves[]

The most widely known species of false wizards, with multiple sub-species - most which are unfortunately, undocumented or have gone extinct.

Sub-species do not have physical differences, but magical differences and immunities. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Earth/Forest Elves
  • Mountain Elves
  • Dusk Elves
  • Dawn Elves
  • Moon Elves
  • Sun Elves
  • Fire/Nether Elves
  • Dark/Night Elves
  • Day/Astral Elves
  • And etc.

Other Notable Species[]

As they are not of the highest concern to the wizarding society, these species have the least recorded info, to some's disdain.

Species Status Population Sub-Species? Documented Members
Miscellaneous Fauna (Including Insects) Depends on Species 10 quintillion+ Depends on Species Undocumented
Dwarves Near Threatened 15k+ No Undocumented
Merlings Vulnerable 9-10k+ (According to a research project) No Koi; Athena; Mist; Mizu; etc
Floatlings Vulnerable 12k+ (According to the census taken during the migration from the Lost Island to Tower Town) Yes (Fire; Ice; Astral; Fire; Storm; Earth) Swoopy; etc

Dwarves[]

They are short, stubby creatures with notable facial hair and bulging eyes. They are normally seen wearing hats and having a piece of cloth wrapped around their large feet, as shoes do not fit them. Their hands are normally seen brown and dirty from working the earth, but their large Elf-like ears are tan from exposure to sun.

Merlings[]

They are bipedal, cat-like, scaled creatures with mermaid tails. Their ears resemble fins, as well as their legs, and some have sailfins down their back. They vary in colors and patterns. Females decorate their head fins with coral and flowers, similar to hair, often to draw the attention of males.

Floatlings[]

Small yellow creatures with a flower on their head. The flower varies depending on their sub-species, and represents their elements.
