Why do I always get inspiration for a new project right after I lose it for something else-
I will come up with a better, less religious controversial name later, asdfghjkl;'- To be fair, the book of genesis wasn't even called that in the original version (it was called Bereshith) + genesis is a word anyone can use so...
Beginnings[]
In the beginning of a world, nothing exists.
Nothing, of course, but outside forces.
By not so unknown means, something began to form in the eternal darkness, something that held great power... but used so little of it. With it's formation, sparks of life occurred in the darkness, but the sparks were horribly weak, as if they were all lacking in something.
As these sparks begun to fade, the first force of the world awoke for the first time, and sensing the sparks of life, sought them out. Yet, with all the darkness around it, it could not see, but that was not a problem for long.
It had found the first spark.
The being had little to no form, scarcely having anything to hold together the mass of power, but it managed to hold the little spark, a hopeful little thing wanting to shine and light up the dreaded void they resided in. So, with the other being's help, the stars, moons, planets, and suns were made, providing orbs of light in their vast world
The spark, beginning to form a stronger consciousness, decided to follow the other being in its quest to find the other sparks, and it merrily lit their path.
As they continued on, they encountered another spark, this one radiating with eternal night. It festered in the spots the first spark did not lit, and sought only to stay safe within the folds of darkness in the universe. Yet, it slowly became curious of the two other beings, approaching cautiously.
At first, the original being was unsure of this spark, as it brough a sense of negativity, but some intuition told the being this spark was important, and upon closer observation, it seemed to balance the more luminous spark. It's mind made up, it set out again, this time followed eagerly by two sparks, one lighting the way and the other obscuring their trails.
The next spark had started to grow near the celestial bodies created with the help of the first, specifically the planets and moons. When it nestled in the being's "hands" - and with some help from the luminous spark - soil, stone, and a promise of later life came to the planets and moons, albeit, not all of them. After a while the spark stopped with it's creations, saving some of it's abilities for later on.
The being took note of this before it and the three sparks continued on. When they encountered the next spark, the being barely had to intervene before the earthen spark and luminous spark approached the newcomer, working together to add water, atmosphere, and the most basic of life to a vast variety planets and moons. As they did so, another spark began to form, and as the primordial being joined in with their creations, weather and air was brought to the worlds, and life was becoming more and more prominent.
The darker spark joined in, and with it, a coldness seeped into the planets and universe, and the next spark joined them, bringing ice and snow with it. The luminous spark took note of this, and with the weather-based spark, they located the final spark of life, an ever burning flame.
With this, the elements came to being, as well as the one destined to balance them.
After some time, they settled on a world of their preference, and the magic of creation began to seep into the land.
The Darkness[]
She had been conscious for quite some time now, taking on the forms of shadows by choice. Being a "she" was also a choice she made, and the fact she was so rapidly making choices and changes had startled the primordial being who had settled in the mountains.
When she chose to present herself, it was often as a horror of the night, but she scarcely did so, being quite indifferent. Yet nearly always it the curiosity towards a certain luminous being that dragged her into interactions, ending quite awkwardly. Regardless, she seemed to enjoy their presence, regardless of them being the complete opposite of her.
The Light[]
The luminous being woke up.
They had little to no form before this, just wisping among the sun and fire light, but after some time, they sought to be able to roam on the land, yet still be able to fly in the air. The loved the birds of the air they made with the earthen being and weather being, so at first, it decided to take on the form of a small, radiant, creamy yellow dove.
It had been sleeping in a nest made in the branches of a tall fir tree, overlooking the forest. From here, it was possible to see all the areas the elementals claimed for their own, as well as the mountain a certain higher being resided in.
The elemental had not claimed an area as it's own, but as it happened with the other elementals, the island they had first awakened on resonated with the energies he had power over. Yet, on the main island, he would often visit the other elementals and stay with them for a short while, a particular dark elemental doing similar.
The dove stretched it's wings, flapping them a couple of times before taking off. It had stayed with Earth the day before, and the day before that they had visited Fire. Cycling through the options, it decided to go and see how Storm was doing, especially since the weather-based elemental was having trouble making themself a home.
Setting a course, the bird made way to the northern coast of the island.
The World[]
A small, pastel green feline padded through the growing forest, soon reaching her favorite tree and scrambling up the branches. After climbing into her favorite spot, a vine crept toward her, curling around her paw to help her anchor her in the tree.
This particular tree had pink flowers, it's branches swaying gently in the light breeze as petals drifted into the pond nearby. The feline closed it's eyes, enjoying it's favorite spot, when it heard a splash below. The cat's eyes snapping open, it crept to the edge of the branch - to the vine's protest - and glanced downward, where a fish was trying to get her attention.
The feline purred before gently untangling herself from the vine and scrambling down the trunk, padding up to the water. The fish, who was an odd blue-silver koi, flicked its tail in the direction of a very cross looking Flame Salamander trapped on a rock, drenched in all aspects. The feline held back a chortle as it stretched out a paw and rescued the amphibian, placing it on the shore.
The second she did so, it set itself alight, wanting to dry off as quickly as possible. Around this time, a dove flew overhead, determinedly making it's way to the storm wrought forest ahead.
The Waters[]
The koi fish flicked a fin in farewell at the feline before swimming deeper into the waters, swimming along submerged cave systems and passing through many ponds across the island.
There was a body of water in every elemental area - or at least, there were at the time - so that the elemental could visit the others. Often, a certain fiery amphibian would be dragged into coming along with her, and they would gladly join her... until they got to drenched for comfort.

Creation[]
After some time, the elemental beings had chosen names for each other, being Celestial, Shadow, Earth, Water, Ice, and Storm. Storm, however, was curious elemental, often also being addressed as Weather, Wind, Air, Mech, and Electricity before a name was settled on. The elementals had also begun to bore with choosing the forms of the more common wild life, deciding to attempt to be more creative - resulting in many races.
With Celestial came the Faen, creatures of air and land, water and earth, storm and fire, shadow and light. He wanted to be a noble creature that had connections with all the elements, as well as bearing the knowledge of centuries. Yet, notably, he did not take on the form of the Faen he created, yet a more bird-like creature.
With Storm came Ivories, a chaotic twist to existing races and creatures. Specifically, he enjoyed taking on the form of an Ivory Storm Faen, resulting in Celestial's amusement.
With Shadow came the dragons and demons, creatures that plagued those who did many wrongs, and with doing so, brought her pleasure.
With Water and Earth came nymphs, druids, dwarfs, and dryads of all sorts, as well as catamounts. Earth, however, took the form of a kätzlein (cat-human).
With Ice came the yetis, a race of mountains and snow.
And finally, with Fire came the elves, a race born of flame and passion, but their passion was so strong they rejected him, and by doing so the race slowly began to fall...

Cataclysm[]
For unknown reason, the elemental known as Celestial began to grow weak, eventually passing away.
Their ghost did not remain, nor did their body, it was as if they had never existed. This caused great panic among the others, as well as throwing their perfect world into imbalance. The primordial being who has remained silent for so long roused in response, waiting to see what the elementals would do as well as preparing drastic measures.
Their hope was to be able to restore the peace they lived in before, but this will never happen, for things would change greatly...
