Thomas Starheart is a character who appears in The Faen Wind.
Appearance[]
A young-looking, wingless fey with parallel scars on his back. He's curly ginger hair and amber eyes, and he's coated in scars, most from being whipped. He had a pale complexion, but it tanned after working the fields. He wears the typical clothing of that time, which is similar to that worn in the Victorian era. His clothes are shades of brown.
He has a fluffy, ginger, ribbon-like tail. However, he normally keeps it tucked in his pants in order to pass off as a human.
Personality[]
He's a kind and thoughtful individual who isn't afraid to stand up for his ideals. His time as a slave lead to him being wary of humans, but appreciating the kind ones all the more. He's willing to make sacrifices to ensure the safety of others, one of which was continuing to work for the Oceanfalls in order to keep his tribe safe.
He also loves animals of all sorts, keeping a pet Emburn and working in the Oceanfall's barn.
Weapons/Gear[]
Raider's Staff: Ironically, he owns it incase someone tries to raid the barn.
Boots of the Harpooner: Watertight shoes are much appreciated when walking around the stables.

Astral Magic
Fae/Fey Stepping: An ability that fairies and faeries have, triggered by instinct. It causes them to teleport a short distance away, bringing them to safety, or in some cases, behind the opponent for an advantage.
Prehensile: His tail is prehensile, but he has a very lose grip.
Strength: Like all other fairies, he's two times stronger then a human/wizard

Backstory[]
As a young boy, he escaped from the Academy, previously being enslaved there. He rejoined the Astral Tribe, growing up there and avoiding the Rokshna. However, he was eventually caught, and instead of being returned to the Academy, was illegally sold to the Oceanfall's. He served them for over three hundred years, witnessing many generations come and go. At some point, he lost his wings to Herod Oceanfall, later being freed by Jonathan Oceanfall and working as a paid employee instead. He pretended to be a human, hiding his tail and using his hair to cover up his ear points. Eventually, he met Edur Icetalon, and due to protecting him from George Oceanfall, he was discovered to be a fey and re-enslaved. His fate from this point forth is unknown.

- He's a cenorist.
- His name is pronounced with a soft "Th" rather than the hard "T" Thomas is normally pronounced with. Thus, it's pronounced "Thaw·mas" not "Tom·uhs."
