Treacherous Taiga is a quest-based, plot-driven location with more than monotonous activities. Nike is the questgiver of the land and provides the player with a list of what not only she needs, but also what the other inhabitants need.

INTRO
*Noot hops out of the wizard's bag once they arrive at the Base Camp.*
Noot: So is this the island that we were supposed to arrive at?
*Nike walks over to where the player is, meeting them from the right side, Patches and Gloria in tow.*
Nike: Oh, hey look, the wizard has arrived, and on time, too!
Welcome to the Treacherous Taiga! I know this isn't what you might have been expecting, but this entire island is bountiful and can last us decades...maybe.
We as the monsters of Treacherous Taiga have offered by the request of the Wardens to help them against the Order as long as our basic needs are met.
Unfortunately, my friends and I are starved. The near hundred of us have no ability to work in this climate.
Even I can't defend them against these ruffian minions that have taken over the outer parts of the land!
Patches: That's right, I'm working on an empty stomach. I have things to sell, but no food to pay for.
Gloria: Same with me. I'll be happy to trade coins, but there's simply no food to eat to make the coins have value.
Nike: That's right. Our economy is in shambles. If you are willing to help us, at least get us food. I recommend visiting the Mountainous Loop to get us some fruit. If you can go there and back several times and collect at least ten pieces of fruit, we have a little surprise for you.
*A white hand points to the direction of the Mountainous Loop, and the player receives the tutorial on how to make a Treacherous Run. They will harvest multiple times and return multiple times, if needed, to obtain fruit.*
Nike: You returned! Thank you for the fruit.
*Nike takes 10 fruits from the wizard's bag.*
Gloria (aside): Hey Nike, can we ask for more? We really need some wood and other materials to rebuild our community.
Nike (aside): Fine, but we need a favorable balance of trade so that our fists have just as much value as the resources we are given.
Nike: Wizard, I thank you for the contribution, but we need much more help. Please return with ten pieces of wood; we need it for housing.
