Homo electro[]
Common ancestor of four "alien" species of human. They originated from a controlled evolution path as result of multiple genetic modifications to aid in their survival on Alpha. The name is also used as a general term for the subspecies.
Unique traits:
- Neuro-toxic blood: Trait gained from modifications with eel DNA. It takes 5ml of their blood to kill another person, and makes them immune to most basic neuro-toxins due to their body being rigged against being poisoned by themselves.
- Basic electrical manipulation: They are noted for having three organs - similar to an electric eel - dedicated to produce and manipulate electricity. This allows the to survive the intense environment of Alpha. This trait is gained from modifications from enhanced electric eel DNA.
- Heightened night vision: They can see slightly better than most humans in dim environments. It's unknown if this was from natural evolution or modifications.
Homo eloan[]
Classification for the modern day homo-electro. Asides enhancements in regards to the aforementioned abilities, there's little-to-no difference between them and homo electros.
Homo electra[]
Homo electros that have been modified with ηλεκτέρας DNA. Similar to the cases of homo serpentes and homo aves, this arguable makes them more of an alien species than homo eloan.
Unique Traits:
- Rubber matter: Certain bodily systems have rubbery composition, serving as protection from their own electricity.
- Unidentifiable matter: Their skin is drastically pale in comparison to other humans, and although the skin feels normal, it certainly does not look or act normal. Injuries scar differently, and it notably takes longer to burn.
- Lack of hair: Notably, the skin lacks the typical body hair, with exception to fur, facial hair, and hair on the scalp, of course.
- Spikes: Like a ηλεκτέρας, they have spikes lining their collarbone. This crest serves as protection for the neck, but are more of an inconvenience in a human setting. Many opt for them to be removed or at least, studded.
- Tails: Just like a ηλεκτέρας, they have five tails that are coated in special hairs that encourage the growth of a specific mineral while moist. The said mineral is a soft, light-weight crystal that can store electricity and is used by to generate mass amounts of electricity. As a child, they only have one tail, having three as a teen, and finally five as an adult.
- Fur: They have small amounts of fur on the shoulders and around the neck, and this can even extend down their spine like a ηλεκτέρας.
- Elevated ribs: Their breast bone is abnormally visible, and the ribs are more elevated than than humans. When this occurs in humans as a deformity, it's also known as pigeon chest.
- Canine-like ears: Their ears are located slightly higher up the skull, and are shaped like a canine's. This contributes to their heightened hearing. Many opt for surgery to achieve a more human-like shape, but they're normally still pointed even after this.
Homo serpentes[]
Homo electros that have been modified with φίδιτέρας DNA. Similar to the cases of homo electra and homo aves, this arguable makes them more of an alien species than homo eloan.
Unique Traits:
- Rubber matter: Certain bodily systems have rubbery composition, serving as protection from their own electricity.
- Lack of hair: Notably, the skin lacks the typical body hair, with exception to facial hair and hair on the scalp, of course.
- Scales: They have pitch-black scales lining the back of their arm, legs, and neck. These scales may raise when the person is frightened or angry.
- Tail: They have a black-scaled tail. This provides little use to them besides possibly being used for balance.
- Dangerous bite: Like the φίδιτέρας they share DNA with, their bite not only injects venom, but also directly applies absurd amount of electricity into their victim. This thus reacts with the venom and catalyzes within the bloodstream. It's unknown if they can use this electricity outside of oral contact.
Homo aves[]
Homo electros that have been modified with πτητέρας DNA. Similar to the cases of homo electra and homo serpentes, this arguable makes them more of an alien species than homo eloan.
Unique Traits:
- Rubber matter: Certain bodily systems have rubbery composition, serving as protection from their own electricity.
- Heightened vision: Their vision rivals and eagle's, and they can see objects from insane distances.
- "Feathers": Small feather-like structures replace arm and leg hair, casting the illusion of small wings. However, they are inherently flightless.
- Enhanced electrical manipulation: Like ηλεκτέρας' tail crystals, their false-feathers seem to assist in the conduction of electricity.
Homo cyro[]
They originated from a controlled evolution path as result of multiple genetic modifications to aid in their survival on Beta.
Unique Traits:
- Cold resistance: It's unknown what modifications allowed for this.
- Heightened night vision: They can see slightly better than most humans in dim environments. It's unknown if this was from natural evolution or modifications.
- Advanced control over body temperature: Self-explanatory. It's unknown what modifications allowed for this.
Homo prodigious[]
Common ancestor of the following. They are native to the island of Prodigy, however, certain descendants have split off into two groups.
Homo astralum[]
A species of homo prodigious that evolved to use magic. Hence their name, they first evolved to use Astral Magic.
Unique traits:
- Abnormal coloration: Due to their constant interaction with elemental energy, it's relatively normal for them to have what's considered unnatural hair and eye colors. However, hair colors and patterning is a bit...odd, to say the least, as certain patterns are only seen in their Wardens and their Trainees.
- Elemental Magic: Self explanatory. They primarily use Astral Magic. This is made possible due to their unique nervous system, which is designed to allow for magic. This is why their magic might behave irregularly when they are suffering from affects on the nerves.
Homo sapnic[]
Arguably, they are the most similar species to homo sapien on the island of Prodigy. However, due to how they evolved separately, they are considered their own species, despite the fact there's virtually no differences between them.
Homo infinitus[]
An "immortal" species of human that evolved separately from homo prodigious.
Unique traits:
- Basic Magic: This is made possible due to their unique nervous system, which is designed to allow for magic. This is why their magic might behave irregularly when they are suffering from affects on the nerves.
- Immortality: It is fully possible for them to die, but if they take care of themselves, they have been known to live for eons, eternally unageing.
