Dafeng is a Storm's cat,[3] who later roams the C.A.V.E.R.N Institute as result of abnormal circumstances.[4]
Personality[]
He's described by Draco to be friendlier than Sir Knighty,[3] to the point he's friendlier than what's normal for a cat,[5] and has been implied to be a rather emotional, meowing out of concern,[6] interest, and variety of other emotions. He also likes to climb on things,[7] resulting in Storm installing baby gates around the house to barricade him.[3] He's notably protective of Storm.[5]

Dale describes him as much larger than his usual shape and having exceptionally sharp teeth.[5]
History[]

During Storm's later statements, Dafeng began to act more as an emotional support animal than a pet, frequently intruding statements out of implied concern for him. He was also the key for Draco and Iris to investigate Storm's house, as they visited to catsit him.[3] As result, Iris was marked as he distracted Draco, although it's unknown if it was intentional. When the country house was signed over to the institute, he frequently interacted with the Archive's staff, resulting in Dale noticing that Dafeng wasn't exactly a normal cat. However, it's still unknown what Dafeng is, if not a common house cat.
Personal Items[]
Although not all will be listed, there are a few items of his that are of note.
- Claw Caps: He wears claw caps to avoid shredding Storm's pagers and other items.[8]
- Collar: A tracked collar.[3] Allows people to keep tabs on where he runs off to.
Abilities[]
- Shapeshifting: Dafeng possesses the ability to turn into a monster of sorts, although the specifics are unknown.[5]
- Squeaky Clean: Even if Dafeng is filthy, he does not dirty the area around him.[5]
- Teleportation: He has tendency to vanish, in which his collar displays him being in a bizarre location. Although the collar is capable of displaying the location, it cannot log it,[5] with the data being corrupted and unable to be reviewed.

- He has absolutely zero problems with the consumption of human flesh.[2]
- His full name, "His Highness Dafeng," is in reference to how all cats in the Magnus Archives have a title in their name.[9]
