Starting Out[]
Step 1. Upgrading Your Axe[]
I highly recommend upgrading your axe before proceeding to do anything else. Why? For some reason, Smarteacher(AKA prodigy devs) decided to make trees grow slow as molasses. You need wood to upgrade your axe, you know. If you use your wood on something else first, then you run out of wood, and trees, you're going to have a forest of pine trees that are useless until the oaks grow back.
Step 2. Fix the Market Stall[]
As you probably know, there's a market stall that needs to be repaired in your village. When you fix it, NPC's will ask you for resources, and pay you gold in return. Few jobs may be undoable without trees, but most are easy, and gold is more valuable then you think. The more gold you have, the more you can spend. The more you can spend, the closer you get to achieving the "Big Spender" badges, which provide multiple wishcoins.
Step 3. Have a Plan[]
Okay, now that you've upgraded your axe, and fixed the market stall, the fun can begin. Well, almost. First, you should have a plan. There are multiple ways to decorate your animal crossing rip off village. From playgrounds, to beach areas, to gardens, the possibilities are endless. But before you start buying and crafting items for your area, you should have a rough idea of how you're going to decorate before you realize you've wasted your materials on something you don't even like, especially with the fact that trees take a while to grow back. Having no wood really limits what you can craft.
