Depending on the future of the RPs I'm involved in, these may or may not become canon characters

Kylie Illusionheart[]

A wizard sat up in her bed, clutching her arm, white flakes drifting out of her sleeve.
Guess we're doing this again.
A door creaked as it was opened, allowing the girl to enter the bathroom. A knob creaked as it was turned and water sprayed out of an overhead nozzle. Old bandages were discarded and clothes were then tossed in the laundry bin. The wizard entered the shower, focusing on scrubbing away the dust that clung to her arm.
The skin on her left arm had paled in comparison to the rest of her body and cracks had already taken form and begun to run up and down her forearm.
I can’t keep doing this.
The water stopped running. The wizard stepped out of the shower and dried herself. A cabinet was pulled open and a roll of new bandages were retrieved.
The wizard quickly wrapped her arm up, then got dressed. This was beyond a routine at this point. It was either a pain and/or just plain annoying.
Yeah, let's get this over with.
The wizard grabbed her wand and headed out the door.

Jackson Darkshard[]

Sometimes, Jackson questioned his actions.
Now was one of those times.
Is this what Jillian would have wanted?
What would she be thinking if she saw me now?
No doubt she’d be disappointed.
The shadow wizard solemnly chuckled under his breath.
She would have gotten this done faster.
He sighed.
Well, she’s not here right now, so you get to deal with it. She’ll be back later, anyway.
Jackson stretched out his left arm and a small column of purple flames appeared around his hand. When the flames cleared, a darkened Titan Brawler Maul had revealed itself in his grasp.
The shadow wizard looked up at the group in front of him, expressionless.
"You lot are never winning this fight."
A sadistic smile soon found itself growing across his face.
"I am going to kill you right here and right now. I don’t care what you know about me. I don’t care how hard you try. I don’t care what you try. I don’t care how many times you try. I don’t care what you did for everyone else."
Jackson’s eyes flashed purple and a wave of titan crystals rushed towards the group of wizards, followed by blasts of Shadow magic and large crystal spikes, barely leaving the group time to recover.
"You will find yourself dead before the end of today."
.
.
.
The group fought in nearly perfect sync.
Nearly.
Only one of them needs to die anyway.
One of the wizards ran towards him, holding their Eclipse Sky Scythe outstretched as electricity trailed from the weapon. Jackson watched as the wizard ran faster and raised their scythe above their head, preparing for one final attack.
He chuckled.

They never got to.

The wizard remained where they stood, multiple large titan shard spikes pinning them to their spot.
Their heart count appeared above them.
And it cracked.
The others stood in shock, helplessly watching their friend's heart count slowly decrease until it reached zero.
The wand fell, released from its owner’s grasp. It clinked as it bounced off the crystals before hitting the ground.
The wizard’s heart count shattered.
The wizard exhaled one last time before slumping forwards, the bloodied spikes keeping them upright.
"Heh. See you later." He turned around.
One of the wizards growled, knuckles whitening as their grip on their wand tightened. They took a step forward. "Hey! Get back here and face us!" The Ice relic on their took on a cyan glow.
Jackson shrugged, still walking away. "I have no business with the rest of you. Whatever you do is of no concern to me."
"Fine then."

Jackson’s heart count appeared above his head and cracked. He chuckled, lightly poking the bloodied icicle shards sticking out of his chest.
His heart count shattered.
The Frost Spear retreated into the ground, and the limp shadow wizard collapsed.

Natalie Silverlight[]

Approaching her adversary, the female wizard looked back at her friends for reassurance. One of them gave her a thumbs up. The rest fidgeted nervously. Thanks for the confidence boost, you guys. Well, here goes nothing.
She stretched out her hand to the heavily injured wizard kneeling on the ground. "Come on, you're beat. Can't we just live in peace?"
He looked up at the hand offered to him and blinked. "After all this, you're...sparing me?"
She nodded with a warming smile.
"How dare you."
The wizard let out a small gasp as she was impaled by spikes coming from multiple directions. The bloodied spikes quickly returned to the ground, leaving spots of red where they once were. The wizard stumbled backwards, staring ahead blankly before collapsing, bloodying the ground.

A heartbroken scream broke the silence.
"NO!"
.
.
.
"I…I shouldn't have told her to spare him..."

E R R O R[]

“If you continue down this path, you will find that there is no going back.”
“I’m giving you an option to turn around. Go back. Before I make you do it myself.”
“Alright, fine then. You were warned.”
“Y’know, there was a time when the skies were bright, and burdens were light.”
“We had a shot at a future that was great, and all we had to do was wait.”
“I once believed that everyone deserves a second chance...I thought the same of you at first glance.”
“...but when you came along and changed everything, I could tell...”
“that this world is better off with people like you in hell.

Tommy[]

When my mom, Andrea, was around, she used to tell me stories about wizards. They weren't good ones. None of the adults had any good stories about wizards, really. But you guys seem like nice wizards. My name's Tommy!

...

The adults? Well, just a few days ago, my mother and I were out buying groceries. Then she...disappeared. And it wasn't just her, it was all the adults too! The only ones of us left were children. We still got a lot done in those few days. Who said children couldn't establish a government system on their own?

Zane Redwalker[]

...
Hope you didn't forget about me.
Well, how could you?
He's been telling you all about me anyway.
Rambling on and on.
He thinks he is above everyone.
He thinks he is above helping the greater good.
He was granted this power and chooses to do nothing with it.
I am not him.
You may know my name, but it doesn't matter.

Ms. Jen T. Rer[]

"You can't stop me from taking over Firefly Forest! You are all in my domain now!" the Earth wizard cackled as vines and roots tore out of the ground and wrapped themselves around her opposition. She then placed her hands on her hips. "Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Anticlimactic eve—wait isn't there supposed to be one more of you?"
"So you noticed." One of the wizards smirked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" the villainess snapped.
"Hey! Turn around!" a voice rang out behind the woman.
Jen whipped around and looked from side to side, mildly confused. "Um, hello?"
"...down here."
The woman looked down, quickly noticing the short Earth wizard in training and blinked. She turned towards the entangled wizards. "...seriously? You lot are leaving this up to that half-grown shrub of a wizard?" she asked, pointing to the girl. "Hah! As if she has a chance! We all know that her Earth magic is nothing compared to..."
"Not 'her'," the girl spoke up.
"...what?"
"I don't use 'she' or 'her'."
"...wait, you don't go by she/her?"
"Nope. They/them."
"Oh, you use they/them pronouns..."
"Yeah."
The earth villainess silently stared at the girl for a a solid thirty seconds.

And then she burst into apology.
"I AM SO SO SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO MESS UP YOUR PRONOUNS CRAP JEN YOU'RE AN IDIOT I'M SO VERY SORRY LET ME GO JOT THIS DOWN SO I DON'T FORGET I'M SO VERY VERY SORRY FOR THIS PLEASE FORGIVE ME!"
The girl looked taken aback by the sudden outburst, even taking an instinctive step backwards. "Oh, no, it's fine, believe me, it happens a lot!"
"No, it is not fine! In fact, from here on out, I, Ms. Jen Tehr Rer, swear to address you by your correct pronouns from here on out!"
The young wizard blinked in surprise. "Oh, um, thank you," they said, shuffling their feet.
"Now where were we?" Jen thought aloud, turning back towards the ensnared group of wizards. She suddenly stood erect with her left index finger pointing upwards. "Oh right, I was about to thrash her!"

Silence ensued for the next ten seconds.

Suddenly, the villainess' voice rang out over the battlefield as she realized her error.
"S**T!"
